Today was my first time going into this market. My parents kept on raving about the place so I decided to go check it out. When i first saw the outside, it did not look like such a great market but once I went inside I saw a plethora of fresh fruits, veggies, meats, and cheeses. I love how there is a diversity of different culture’s food. My favorite part of the store was by far the bakery-you know the one in the far back of the market. I was in awe of all of their tiny pastries; the worker offered me a sample of a cookie and it was delicious! I tell her that it is my very first time at this marketplace and how their food intrigues me, she then lets me try another pasty. I was sold and bought a pound! Everyone was so nice and the best part of it all is that the prices are super cheap! I will definitely be back with my family!

If you want an AMAZINGDEAL on meats.deli.crab ceviche… al pastor 100% chicken breast fajita mix with huge chunks of chicken only $ 1.99 per pound! The butcher is really sweet and he knows how to season… also great veggies! Make a beeline straight to the back for the meat counter and then off to the left for awesome produce. You wont find it any cheaper or fresher. New owners for about 6 mos. TRYITYOUWONTBEDISAPPOINTED

Well she’s not a looker but you can get some good ethnic food here that is lower in price than the competitors. I picked up imported Spanish olives for $ 1.99 which isn’t bad. Some shelves are empty but it’s okay. I don’t mind the look of the place and I don’t even mind the fishy smell from the meat deli because they have the hard to find items at lower prices. We will wait and see how thy develop for a while by as long as the prices stay low, I’m happy!

This place is awesome! Fresh and insanely cheap produce. I bought 3 heads of romaine for $ 1! Compare that to $ 2 a head at Von’s. They have fresh made salsa, great deals on meat and deli. Ready to go rotisserie chickens for $ 4.99. Whoever gives this place a bad review be tripping!

I have mixed feelings. I like using their ad to price match at Wal*Mart because their prices are so inexpensive. However, sometimes you get what you pay for. I had some cukes from here that were very bitter. I also bought some inexpensive hummus(2.50 for a big container) and I didn’t like it at all. It was a name brand that I’d never heard of. The store is never busy either. If I need a Mexican or middle eastern ingredient, I’m sure to find it here. I just wouldn’t make this a regular place to shop. I recently found out that the guy who owns this place also owns Sam’s flaming grill. I wont eat at Sam’s anymore because of a bad experience so not sure I want to continue shopping here either. Personally, I don’t think this market is going to last that long.

It’s no longer Sabor Latino… but Super Fresh Marketplace. First. let me say that after reading one previous reviewer I had to see it myself. It seems that the SAME person that worked in the Meat Dept for Latino. is the same for Super Fresh, HE’S DISGUSTING. I also had noticed that one other worker talked on the cell phone while working on meat. They also don’t wear hair nets… as one younger worker seems to do. They also don’t SANITIZE their hands. why…because I noticed they don’t HAVE the chemicals. After speaking with one of the produce workers… he told me just this past week or so… DEADRATS were found. I went over to the Deli section and WHOM did I see! Mark. the deli guy from Valley Produce. I’ve been looking and asking the other people in Valley Produce where he went. Can’t believe the owners of Valley Produce let him leave. He seemed happy. but he didn’t look overjoyed. He told me that he wanted to stay at Valley P… but had to leave for financial reasons. Risky I told him but he said they didn’t offer any more… so he had to go. I went back to get some deli cheeses and noticed just on Wed… he’s not there! I asked but got the run around. Deli person, guy, I talked to… foreign for sure… didn’t shave and not a customer service person for sure. Business didn’t look good. Very quiet and extremely cold. One guy I asked about Mark, the store manager, is cold and not very professional. One gal at the counter said he’s the same manager that worked for Latino… Now I know why they failed. Same location… different name… same workers… looks like it’ll be same result… OUTOFBUSINESS. The products on the shelve shows there trying to be Valley Produce. Not gonna happen in Canyon Country. Lighting is bad and atmosphere is also bad. The cooked food… I tried a grilled chicken. Once again… can’t understand English. Got home… wasn’t cooked. I wonder if the Health Dept inspected. I think they’re gonna be in real trouble. Can’t compete with Valley Produce. For sure they can’t compete against Food 4 Less and because of the lack of workers that can speak English… those customers aren’t gonna come. One thing… and it’s hard to find caring and hardworking employees. If Mark left on his own after leaving Valley Produce… he knew it was bad and the risk didn’t work. If they laid him off! FOOLS! The owners of Valley Produce should knock on his door for a return… raise him a bit, if that was why he left and get him back. The wait time has gotten longer and work ethic has severely dropped since I noticed him gone. No direction. No leadership… Happy Holidays
