Love this place; so cute and inviting. To be honest every time I’ve gone I’ve sat outside, in the burning heat. So I’ve never had the hot tea lol just the iced but hey it’s delicious either way. Although I do recommend to management that they get/make some sort of liquid sweetener for the iced teas. This place is not fancy, and it’s not really vegan friendly either. But they have some vegetarian sandwiches and the pastries are sooo yummy(before I was vegan). Worth checking out :)

My husband and I go to tea everywhere that we travel and one of things we miss most about the UK and Europe is trying to find a place in town where you can sit down to an actual pot of loose leaf tea. I love the cute pots and tea pot warmers you get with your tea order. I am also constantly searching for a tea room that offers gluten free afternoon tea service that includes scones. Believe it or not, I have been to 5-star hotels where the chef refuses to make a gf scone because it is insulting. It was such a delightful surprise to find a tea house that offers gluten free in every aspect of the tea service … and in Santa Clarita of all places! My favorite thing is that they offer a gluten free scone. It is not traditional British as it has chocolate chips and white chocolate chips in it. But I enjoy that they have a gf scone at all. It would be lovely to just get a plain scone to enjoy with jam, clotted cream and butter. They have a good variety of teas, which also surprised me, considering we were out the SCV. For some reason, this isn’t the first place I would think of for a big loose leaf selection. But they have a large selection of teas as well as tisanes. I also love that they have breakfast all day… anything that says«Tuscan» has the best side sauce! Mmmm! I noticed a lot of issues folks seem to be having with management or service in general. I have not had any problems or complaints. I have been there with groups from 2 — 8; seated in the front section and the back section; and we have always had exemplary service from every member of the staff. Also, the parking is abundant and it isn’t as far away from North Hollywood as some might imagine. We can get there in about 20 minutes which is comparable to the time it takes to drive to Pasadena and find parking.

So my daughter and I love to visit tea rooms and this happens to be the only one in SCV. It use to be above average with the first owners, who also own Eat Real Café. Now it has drop very below average. We waited 20 minutes to sit down and mind you there were plenty of tables open. Unfortunately, the owner does not know how to train staff to be quick, efficient, and friendly. This place use to be clean but, if you sit in the back room expect a mess that will not be cleaned during your visit. I always request the front area because the backroom looks like a title 5 tornado hit it. I really wish the owner would sell this place to someone who cares about tea rooms and knows something about having one. We will not be visiting this establishment anymore. I would rather take the drive to Pasadena to have some quality afternoon tea.

Went to a vape shop in Santa Clarita and ended up going to this little spot afterward. The desserts were so good! That little lemon raspberry cheesecake was delicious. I also usually hate tea but the iced Chai Tea was definitely something to order

Went to this place today for breakfast everything was wonderful from the many teas to the food. The waitress is great and off a great service the manager in the other hand was a major B**** very rude and made us not want to return.

Wow. What a disappointing experience. My mother and I met to go over plans for my wedding but found it practically impossible at the worlds tiniest table. Not only am I currently using a scooter due to recent ankle reconstruction surgery, but I have a very large cast extending past my knee making it very difficult to fit. I requested a table with a little bit more space(inside or outside), and was told that was not possible as there were«many» other guests waiting to be seated. As I looked around I saw tons of tables both big and small that were unoccupied as it was in between lunch and dinner. Not only was the hostess extremely rude when we arrived, but the manager was even worse. After working in food service many years I know what it takes to provide a positive dining experience. However, today was the exact opposite. I definitely will not be coming back or ever returning with my mother. I’m very dissatisfied with the new owners and do not plan on ever coming back. The only positive thing that we experienced here was our server who was really huddling while the manager and hostess stood around. What a shame.

Have not been impressed with customer service since new owners took over. I have been a fan and customer for years. At one point was there twice a week. A couple months ago I went, not knowing they had changed ownership. I went ti use my $ 10 Restaurant Row coupon and they would not honor it. I get they didn’t get anything out of it but is it worth leaving a customer of several years with a bad experience. This week I calked for a reservation for s bday party for 12 of us. Whoever answered spoke to me like she was doing me a favor to get me in at 11 or 12 when I wanted 11:30. Now correct me if I’m wring, 11 lunch is going to probably run into 11:30 and even 12 with a bunch if ladies. Well, we took our 12 to Egg Plantation with 30 min notice. I am pretty easy going but if we are of so little importance as customers, there are lots of great places out here these days.

Met with 3 friends recently. A feast to be recommended. Service is impeccable, China, linens, silverware, enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff. The selection of sandwiches served could not be best, A must for all … It is a most pleasing eating experience not omit the most scrumptious scones I have ever tasted. Bön Appetit everyone.

I have to give this place some love on here considering I’ve had everything on both the food menu and tea menu. The amount of pictures I’ve uploaded on my Instagram here is outraged I’ve even won a «best picture» contest. It’s a cute place with cute décor and delicious food. Does it get better than that? Love coming here with the girls and even my boyfriend comes and absolutely enjoys it. I can’t wait for spring because you will definitely find me here sitting outside drinking tea and feeling like a princess !

This is my favorite place in the SCV and it is being ruined by new management. Service, environment everything is different not as homey and of significantly poorer quality than it was.

HATETHENEWMANAGEMENT! Nasty, rude lady. Won’t let you be seated until your whole party is there. The lady next to us waited over 40mins and was told the wait time would be 10−15mins. I went back three more times just because I thought she was having a bad day, but she was even nastier the next time. I’m done going there forever.

Went in with a groupon with my mom and had a wonderful experience — the afternoon tea was a treat and the manager was an exceptional server and treated us like family! Would HIGHLY recommend and will definitely be back asap! Recommendations: — passion tea — Long Island strawberry tea — tuna sandwich — turkey basil pesto sandwich — pumpkin chocolate scone(might be. Seasonal) — brownie Everything we had was delicious!

This is the cutest place ever! I’ve come here many times and always enjoy it. I wish the place was a little bigger cause it can get pretty packed and crowded at peaks hours. I always get grill chicken parm panini. Never disappoints. The way they present their food is also super cute! It is a little pricy, but the sandwich is so good so, I don’t mind spending a little bit. I get that they are tea/brunch place and that normally close earlier, but I wish that they stayed opened past 5 pm.

I say it all the time, the Santa Clarita Valley doesn’t have much to offer. It really doesn’t. I decided to try something new with a good girlfriend of mine, and we both really enjoyed the Tea Elle Garden Café. Tea’s are $ 4.20, and they’re equivalent to about 2 ½ cups. The prices of the food are comparable to a lower-end restaurant, yet the way they dress the plates with the food is fantastic. I have two things I was a little disappointed by: it was so hot inside. I would say it was mid 80s and humid inside. It was slightly uncomfortable, so we both decide to sit outside. Outside was beautiful, but again it was slightly uncomfortable. The café is surrounded by random doctor offices and highschool district offices. So while your enjoying your food and tea you are in the middle of the courtyard where everyone walks. Its not that big of a deal, but it was strange at first. The feeling passes quick though. The staff was super nice and I ended up knowing someone that worked there(small world!). The Tea Elle Garden Café is one of the few hidden gems. Location is weird, but its quiet and out of the way from everything. I will be coming back very soon!

Schoolteacher and I were looking for breakfast. My first thought was Ihop, but then I remembered this place was tucked away in the plaza next door. I’d stopped in for an iced tea a while back, and remembered good things about that brief encounter. Breakfast would be nice. We entered the place and there was a line and hostess girl taking names for a the wait list. After giving my name, another girl popped up from behind the counter with two glasses of water, as if to give them to me. I jokingly thanked her and reached for the glasses. She smiled, thought for a moment, and then handed them to me. Sweet, I was kinda parched anyways. I thanked her, and gave one to Schoolteacher. Since there were no available waiting seats inside, we strolled outside to drink our water while we waited for our table. We chatted about the plans we had for the day amongst the potted flower gardens. We meandered back inside to check the status of our names and we were quickly lead to a table. As we were lead the short distance to the table, I looked around the place. It looks like a little old lady had decorated the place. Several sparkly chandeliers were hung, shedding their light onto the shelves and shelves and shelves of tea cups, tea bags, cookie jars, decorations and other assorted knick-knacks. Tables were sprinkled about the place, and large windows also let in copious amounts of light. Curtains were also draped along walls, separating areas further. There was a full sized bicycle turned flower planter parked inside the place. We were each handed both a tea menu and breakfast menu by waiter guy. I opened the tea menu and was quite overwhelmed with the selection of teas from assorted kinds. Huge lists of Black, Oolong, White, Honeybush, Green, Yerba, Rooibos, Tisanes and Flowers and Roots looked up at me. My confused expression must have been evident, as Schoolteacher looked up at waiter guy and said ‘We’d like a pot of Earl Grey.” Sweet. I know a starship captain that always drinks that stuff. As waiter guy left to fix the tea, I opened up the menu. It was their breakfast menu, and based upon the descriptions, everything sounded really good. Eventually I settled upon Erika’s Bagel. A bagel with cream cheese, cucumbers, red onions, tomatoes, avocado & lemon pepper seasoning sounded pretty good to me. Although there was some brief confusion about when some items could be ordered.(Something about ovens being turned off) Our tea arrived in a large pot, and was placed on a tea warmer complete with tea candle beneath it. We eagerly drank the tea and it’s caffeine worked it’s magic to start up our day together. The food arrived after a cup or two of the warm tea. After transferring the beautifully sliced avocado over to her plate, it was as good as it had sounded on the menu. On first glance, it was fairly bulky to pick up and eat, so I neatly cut it apart with a fork and knife. The bagels were crisp, the cream cheese cool. The assorted vegetables and spices on top were refreshing. It was a quite good mixture of clean and healthy that my burger and french fry body really needed. We ate and chatted about our time apart, and as we were finishing up, I noticed we still had a bunch of tea in our teapot. I asked waiter guy, and he quickly responded if we would like it hot or iced to go? I guess they get that alot. I went with iced and before too long a large plastic cup of ice was set between us. We poured the remainder of the tea into the cup, closed it up and paid our bill.(Which was around $ 35 after tax & tip)
So while it’s a scosh on the expensive side, the place is an adorable cutesy-wutsey quaint lil place where you can enjoy some baked tasty treats and a pot of tea with your friends. I’ll definitely be back someday for some afternoon tea in their garden.
