Julia made my son’s birthday cake and she did an excellent job! I have never tasted her cake before and hired her based on internet reviews and I am so glad I did! Her prices are reasonable as well. Everyone at the party raved on how moist and delicious the cake was — one layer was vanilla with vanilla cream filling, the other was chocolate with chocolate ganache filling. Both were outstanding! I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a custom made cake in Santa Clarita.

My 7-​year old wanted a haunted house cake for his birthday party. After going to two storefront bakeries that told me that I needed to place an order 3 – 4 weeks in advance (I didn’t even know I was having the party that far in advance), I remembered Julia and that she had made some cupcakes for my younger son’s birthday party last year. When I called, she said «yes» right away. I sent three photos of cakes that my son liked and she came up with something even better (see posted photo), plus the cake was moist and delicious with yummy frosting. And she delivers! Bravo to Julia for giving my birthday boy exactly the cake he wanted! Next time, no matter what the confection, I am going to Julia first!

Julia made a cake for my dad’s surprise birthday party, and I have to say, I was really amazed. My dad is a huge fan of snicker’s bars, so Julia went ahead and created a Snicker’s cake! She made an incredibly moist chocolate cake. Between the layers was a sweet and creamy peanut butter filling that was peanuty without being over bearing. Then she covered it with buttercream frosting and carmel drizzles. It was amazing! To top it off, she bordered the cake with hand made truffles. Heavenly! I would highly recommend Whip It Up Sweets to anyone who is looking for a cake decorator, with delicious recipes and creative designs. Julia does a fabulous job! Thank you so much for making my dad’s birthday extra special!
