Avenue Cigars

Dirty nasty hole.

So one evening back in the day, I get a phone call from my friend.
«Hey, wanna go to Santa Cruz?»
Hmm. After looking at the time and considering all that I had to do the next day, I haphazardly agreed. After all, how could I resist a random adventure?
So I was strolling down the street with my friend on the beginning of our random adventure and we decide to make our first stop at Saturn Café to meet up with some friends. We walk by Avenue Cigars and notice that there’s a bar inside.
«Wanna get a drink?»
«I’ll get a drink if you get a drink!»
So we walk in and get a drink. Guess what we get? A midori sour and a white russian. Yum yum.
«Hey! We randomly got drinks at a place called Avenue Cigar! Lololol!»
They cost $ 4.50 a piece and I give her my change to pay for her drink and we sit down and marvel at how we randomly walked in here. The interior is pretty nice and there’s a pretty good crowd. There are pool tables if my memory serves me right, and some TV’s to watch whatever game is going on. After finishing our drinks, we walk out and go across the street to Saturn Café.
Well that was random.
What was also random and not that random is my low alcohol tolerance, so shortly after inhaling garlic fries, I had to run to the bathroom to throw them all up. Hence the confusion and learning that the bathrooms at Saturn Café are co-​ed. Hence being carsick and alcohol poisoned in my friends car as we weave around the windy mountain roads. Hence the laying in the car waiting for death to claim me while crazy crack heads ask for swigs of peppermint schnapps that I have no idea what’s going on and where anything came from and how there are people in the car.
Damn that was a strong drink.
