This place only accepts cash. Someone please introduce them to the 21st century. The ATM inside charges $ 2.25 per transaction. Thankfully, my credit union refunds ATM fees, but not everyone has this benefit. I had the Mushroom Amore breakfast burrito. Hefty size. It was good the first several bites because I was hungry, but it did not have lasting appeal. I didn’t finish it; it became less and less tasty as I made my way down. I had to add salsa to it to make it more flavorful. Service could’ve been warmer. They get two stars instead of one because the burrito is of a generous size and there’s a good vegetarian selection. Regardless, I do not intend on going back.

Good food, my husband and I both got the southwestern burrito. It was huge! Couldn’t even finish it. Would be nice if they accepted cards. And the service wasn’t super great. One of my pet peeves is when you are visiting somewhere and the«local» places treat you like an outsider for asking questions. But other than that, awesome burritos!

This place is just gross, The food was eh, but I mean it really needs a good cleaning or something. The bathroom was probably one of the worst I have seen. I saw a rat running around the backyard into the kitchen I mean come on… Definitely wont be back.

Great burritos!(The artichoke burrito specifically) Service is good and quick. And their warm burritos are great for the cold mornings. Only complaint is that this joint is «cash only». They have an ATM that charges $ 2.25 in case you are out of cash. But it is a bit of a bummer of a charge.

Great little spot tucked away on the east side. The burritos and salsa are yummy! If it’s too busy out front, check the rear patio.

This place was okay. I got a Greek style breakfast burrito, which was a mistake. Should have gotten one with beans, cheese & avocado. The ambience is not great in the restaurant & they only take cash, but it’s pretty cheap for good eats!

Nice veggie selection on the menu. Had one of the breakfast burritos. Held together very well and not that huge. Free water and salsa in the back. Fun to sit at the front counter with the windows open and watch the passers by. Not as busy as I thought it would be around lunchtime but plenty of people filing through. Beer garden in the back is nice and sunny. Big draw back is cash only. Really no reason for this since Square is free. I think Tacos Moreno is the only other place that refuses to move into the 21st century. Good food, though.

I love breakfast burritos and this place has so many to choose from. I got the Bacon Avocado– which was heavenly. You could probably close your eyes and choose one at random and you wouldn’t be disappointed. The burrito was huge and filled with scrambled eggs, bacon, avocado and cheese. I don’t know what more you could want, but you can make changes if you so desire. You have the option of a spinach, wheat or white tortilla. Another important aspect is the coffee is strong and made fresh. The staff is also super friendly which just added to the experience. I recommend walking down to the beach from the café and enjoying your burrito by the ocean.

Hi, I used to like this place and would go there because it’s never busy and I would enjoy a garden burger and drink for lunch. I’ve liked the cook and person working the counter. I was there a few days ago sitting outside in the patio area. I know they close up at 3:00 and always aware of that. On this day I had finished my lunch and it was 2:50 and another girl, I had never seen there before, came outside and asked me to leave they were closing. The tone that was used, and way she said it, was flat out rude! The patio was cleaned prior to her comment. They lost a customer and I will never go back there again. There was no reason to talk to a customer the way she spoke to me. I treat people the way I want to be treated. Whoever this young brunette girl is, she should find another place to work! She is one employee that needs to find another place to work! Jeff

This is a local breakfast burrito place. There will be a line out the door after 11am on weekends. The menu is long there are 21 different versions of burritos so try and be ready before you reach the front of the line. Everyone claims that the coffee next door at Verve is better and maybe that’s true. But the line is shorter at Chill Out and there’s less attitude with you coffee. We you finally get your enormous burrito you will want to head out back to the lovely tree filled patio. Bring hot sauce or there home made sauce. Sauce is a must. Come hungry.

Even though this place is definitely on the pricier side(it cost me almost $ 10 for the southwestern large burrito) it was pretty good. I ended up splitting the burrito and it was just still a decent size to fill me up. My burrito was filled with beans, egg, cheese, chorizo and I had it on a jalepeno tortilla which was delicious. The service seemed fine and they were very busy when I came in. Bring cash because they are cash only and grab some salsa on the side for your breakfast burrito. I wouldn’t mind trying some of the other breakfast burritos when I am in the area.

Hands down best breakfast burritos I’ve ever had. Love to get breakfast here before taking surf lessons at pleasure point. Cash only!

C The five star review as for the burritos, it’s worth noting that they have very little space to work with. Burritos are monstrous! Might recommend sharing it with one person? Very affordable two burritos and coffee was less than $ 20. Let’s talk about the facility size. They are a very small physical facility. Their quality product has expanded them beyond their means. Thus, the size of the place is very tiny compared to the customer base. Expect to stand outside in line, expect not to find a seat. Expect your burrito to take 10 to 15 minutes. That’s life. They’re popular! Five stars for the food, which matters most! The facility? More like three stars

Boo for being a «cash only» establishment. The girl that took our order seemed hungover or really high. I don’t appreciate people like that being employed because her hearing and speech seemed impaired. An extensive breakfast burrito heaven to satisfy every appetite. I couldn’t decide! Craig picked out the Avocado Motto for me. The burrito was a little dry but it was really, really good AND filling. + avocado + spinach tortilla + hash browns + eggs + inexpensive price Best for breakfast after leg day!

Hash browns inside a burrito? Breakfast Burrito Heaven! Perfect location, reasonable prices, & good-sized portions. They have every kind of breakfast burrito you can imagine. My go to is the spinach scramble. Extra parking lot in the back. There is limited seating inside and outside.

Just spent 2 days in SC for my wife’s birthday and after checking out Unilocal for all the places we could grab some breakfast burritos our first morning there, Chill Out Café was one of the first on my list. The other place… The Point Café. Through all the Unilocalers comments it seemed like there was an obvious division between the fans of both places burritos, so being the generous guy i am i decided that me and my wife would try both burritos back to back.(each ate half) Chill Out was our second stop, we walked in and the thought the place looked awesome. Really relaxed vibe, pictures of dogs hanging, foreign money, not too brightly lit. We decided to go with the bacon avocado breakfast burrito fatty sized because we needed to taste their bacon since it was a vital part of the Point’s burrito. Thank baby jesus we did because that bacon was thee best part of the whole burrito. there was too much egg and it had absolutely no flavor. if i didnt have sour cream to dip the burrito in i prob wouldnt have finished it. other than the burrito though, workers were super nice, atmosphere was awesome, they also have this super cool beer garden area in the back. It’s not the most fancy top notch beer garden youve ever seen but it’s def a cool bonus. anyway. cool place, bacon avocado breakfast burrito is super not worth it. Maybe some of other stuff is good so i’ll prob try something diff at the place again just cuz i dug the actual place enough.
