I appreciate this place immensely. The environment and the staff immediately make you feel better. I’ve been going weekly for a few months, and it has led to marked improvement in my well-​being. Loki is amazing!
Also, the sliding scale $ 20 – 40 makes it completely affordable, and they never push herb purchases, just offer you suggestions to consider.
A big thanks to them!

This warm, welcoming, healing space was truly that! Everything about my many sessions with Debbie, Megan and Tom was wonderful this last Winter. I have been here twice and I can’t believe the results so far! They have a sliding pay scale which I think is really compassionate. Loki is AWESOME! If you want to drift off and forget all your troubles and pain than this is the place to come! I’ll keep you posted.

I have been dealing with severe nausea from pregnancy for the past week and have tried EVERY remedy the internet suggests for relief. Nothing worked until I decided to try acupuncture. I had my first appointment with Loki today and I feel so much better! I finally have an appetite and relief from nausea today! Thank you so much Loki! I highly recommend Communi-​Qi to anyone looking for morning sickness relief or pain relief! Very welcoming and hospitable, affordable and clean! I 100% will be returning!

I’m a big, big fan of community acupuncture in general — maximizes availability of services, minimizes cost, and some believe it even increases the effectiveness of treatments. I’m thrilled with this facility in particular due to a fabulous location in terms of both convenience and the atmosphere in the treatment space, and really accessible hours. Online scheduling is a possibility also which is a big plus for those of us who have too many calls to make during business hours and can’t always fit in one more. I have received help with both physical injuries and the ups and downs of life and its strain on my nerves, and I could not ask for more!

A Groupon originally led me here months ago. I had moved and given myself wrist tendonitis from the heavy lifting. After 2 visits I was cured. I have since continued to return for various problems such as insomnia, pain, anxiety and it always helps. Megan helped cure my husband’s tinnitus. Deb is also great. They even have fill in’s who are temporary but are just as good as the regular staff. Communi-​Qi Acupuncture is a gift to Santa Cruz. We are truly blessed to have affordable, high quality acupuncture that heals.

I have seen a lot of acupuncturists in Santa Cruz, but no one has helped my allergies as much as Megan at CommuniQi! Every time I come here I leave feeling so much better. She has taught me how to change my diet and lifestyle so my body doesn’t react to allergens like it used to. I can’t say enough about this place– It’s a very clean, peaceful setting– and the practitioners are very responsive to your needs. I have seen Loki and I have to say– big changes for a post op knee that’s had a tough rehab. Kudos to Communi-​Qi for offering affordable acupuncture to our community.

After reading the wonderful reviews, I am not sure I can add anything different, but I totally concur with the reviews. I feel so fortunate to have found Debbie. I go every Friday to see her. I look forward to this all week. Debbie embodies healing. Her presence is enough for my blood pressure to drop and my breathing to slow. I find her passion for her work inspires me. From her engaging smile to her friendly and calm demeanor, I feel like putty in her hands. She has a true ease in placing the needles, positioning my body for comfort, and ensuring the room is cozy, quiet and serene. I too marvel at the affordability to allow myself this luxury. My confidence and joy has changed dramatically since coming to Debbie. I feel different and I feel so grateful for Debbie and this environment. Thank you for serving the community of Santa Cruz the way you do. This is the place, and as far as I am concerned, Debbie is my person. I could not be happier with my experience at Communi-​Qi. I am very kinesthetic and have always depended on my hands to do carpentry, crocheting, and play sports, so when I began feeling pain and numbness in my hands I was very worried. After 6 visits spread over 3 weeks my hands feel as strong as ever and I’m able to continue playing sports and doing art. I had acupuncture sessions with all 4 acupuncturists and enjoyed every experience. I plan to continue visiting this clinic on a regular basis. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for low priced quality acupuncture.

I saw Loki yesterday, and OMG!!! I’ve had a lot of acupuncture over the past 4 years, and I have to say I feel amazing today! I was able to do a dialed up workout at the gym despite my arthritis and problematic feet, which can limit me a bit. Thank you so much, Loki! Looking forward to going back.

I’ve been there a handful of times and loved it. I had never tried acupuncture before, and was a bit nervous, but there was no need for that. Debbie was very welcoming, knowledgeable and just has a really soothing nature about her. I told her my concerns, sat down in a chair the community room (each time I’ve gone there has been only 1 – 2 other people in there), Debbie did her thing and. Insta-​Nap. It’s amazing. I love acupuncture, and I love communi-​qi! I highly recommend it.

The people here are absolutely wonderful! I was a little nervous about my first acupuncture experience earlier this year, but the team here makes you feel totally confident and comfortable. Both the environment and the practitioners are warm and soothing. I’ve seen Debbie, Megan and Loki at different times and each individual made me feel comfortable and most importantly, heard. They listen to any concerns you might have and needle accordingly. I leave every time feeling relaxed and refreshed. A huge bonus, they’re totally affordable! Pay on a sliding scale based on what you can afford. (seriously!) I highly recommend checking them out.

I never had acupuncture before, but a neighbor persuaded me to try it. I did not have to look far, for right in my neighborhood was Communi-​Qi! An aching shoulder from a long ago injury was keeping me awake at night and after a couple of treatments with Loki — I had so much more mobility then I did after many expensive sessions of Physical therapy. I was hooked!
In the many months since my first visit, I have returned for other treatments with Loki for stress, sleepless nights and even a back that was out of whack. Now I go for «monthly maintenance, which I like too call my mom time away, an escape to a tranquil place where I can relax in the soothing environment provided by the folks at Communi-​Qi Acupunture.
I have referred quite a few friends and family members to them and if you are reading this, I encourage you to book an appointment right now, you will be grateful you did.

Holy mackerel, I didn’t think it could get much better! I saw Megan last night and today I’m walking on the moon. I feel so alive, healthy & in balance. I’m walking straighter and effortlessly. My whole attitude has shifted. Is this normal? Is this what acupuncture is to everyone? I feel like I’ve found a goldmine that I’ve been searching for my whole life! Thank you communi-​Qi! Amazing! Simply Amazing! I love this place! I have been receiving treatments for the last couple of months on a weekly basis — mainly with Debbie and once with Loki. Both of them are incredible with what they do — how they listen, their suggestions on how to take care of my challenges…
Instant relaxation the moment I walk into the warm, calm, serene, welcoming space where the chairs are. The room is filled with soothing music, calm colors and a feeling of ‘openness’ and healing.
I also appreciate their sliding scale for payments — I mean, where else can you go to find a fabulous session for $ 20 – 40?! The feeling of well-​being stays with me long after I leave Communi-​Qi!
They have helped me through the flu, jaw pain, insomnia, and overall wellness! Thanks Debbie and Loki!

I had an amazing experience today.
I was having really bad neck and shoulder pain (in the scale of 1 – 10 it was a 9) i got a treatment with Debbie and the pain when down to a 1. Very happy that i took the time to check this place up.
I highly recommend this place.
