Today my husband, daughter and I participated in our first beach cleanup hosted by Save Our Shores. It couldn’t have been more positive. The event was well signed, very organized with collection buckets and gloves and among other things a printed pocket size schedule of their future volunteer clean ups. It was a great way to spend the morning with your family and help the environment at the same time!

Save Our Shores is a very valuable part of our local community. I support them, and their mission, one hundred percent. They selflessly work to keep our beaches, oceans, and environment clean and safe. They organize beach clean ups, remind shoppers to use reuse able bags when shopping, and advocate for laws to reduce pollution. If you care about these things then please consider supporting SOS, too.

Save Our Shores is an unbelievably good team of committed professionals that are doing a great job of keeping the Monterey Bay and its beaches healthy and clean for all of us.
No one there is working for the money or glory of it– all are deeply committed to the marine environment and are working at below market pay to do so.
As an active sailor and «beach walker», I am extremely grateful for what they do.
I have donated to them and suggest that you do, too– Its like contributing to public Broadcasting– you use their services and are grateful for the results.

they don’t help out the LOCAL commnIunity only brag about being part of a huge group that works in LA.
After volunteering there working with Johnathon and doing several news related articles I have to say SAVE OUR SHORES IS THE WORST NON PROFIT IN SANTA CRUZ
DONT DONATE TIME MONEY OR RESOURCES TO THIS GREEDY SELFISH RUDE AND IRRESPONSIBLE GROUP OF UNPROFESSIONAL KOOKS.
YES U GUYS ARE A TERRIBLE AND TAKE AS LONG A S A WEEK TO REPLY TO AN EMAIL WHEN IT COULD BE ASOMETHING LIKE
