It was a hot winter’s day, and I had been running around all morning. In a need for a pick me up, I decided to trek through Crown and give Stevenson Coffee House a try. I was greeted by the barista behind the counter and I asked if they had iced coffee, to which he responded yes. He proceeded to make the order by adding coffee to a cup of ice. So I asked for an iced coffee, and I received a watered down version of what I wanted. I paid ~$ 5 for a cup of water, with a hint of coffee. Thank you, but no thank you, Stevenson Coffee House. Please omit the«coffee house» out of your name; you’re not fooling anyone.

The Stevenson Coffee House never disappoints with their great prices and delicious food. My favorite has always been the avocado and cheese bagel(toasted of course), and the cold chai latte. Everyone is always so nice. They accept flexis and cash, but not debit or credit cards! Price: 5⁄5 Food: 4⁄5 Ambiance: 4⁄5 Service: 5⁄5 Overall: 4.5÷5 bumped to a 5⁄5

Been coming here since my freshman year, but ironically didn’t come much while I was living in the dorms. Now its my go to breakfast spot before an early morning class, or a soup/salad joint for lunch. Sometimes the music is really loud and annoying, but they have some tasty stuff so its whatever. Ps. No cards. Flexi/cash only.

I started coming here a few weeks ago when I was starving before class so I decided to come in and get something to eat. I ordered a toasted garlic bagel with cream cheese. I paid as my bagel was being toasted. The amount of cream cheese you get depends on who helps you. I’ve had times where I am given a lot of cream cheese. The workers are students and they’re very nice and quick to work. This is a small café that offers sandwiches, salads, baked goods, coffee, ice cream, drinks, etc. I’ve been coming here every Tuesday and Thursday before class!

This is my favorite café non-restaurant styled place to eat on campus! The atmosphere is just so inviting and warm. It can get very very crowded, but there’s a good reason why. I love grabbing a bagel here to go. They have really good bagels and their hummus is the best! It’s not just standard hummus, but mixed with I believe cilantro, garlic, and other herbs. It’s sooo good that I lick my knife after I finish my bagel. They make pretty good sandwiches that are healthy for you. They also have good soup selections, quiches, baked goods, and of course your giant line of coffee/caffeine selections. My mouth is watering just thinking about it, They have comfy couches to sit on(if you are lucky to even snag a free one), and there’s a beautiful courtyard outside with tons of tables and chairs. They usually have music playing, and it’s usually packed, but it’s a nice atmosphere. I always enjoy the service here, and they do a good job handling the crowd. Cash and flexis only! There’s an ATM located inside.
