Thanh Vu MD

I am so pleased that I was referred to Dr Vu by another physician (opthomologist) a few years ago. My long time GP retired and I had seen two others over the course of a few years. They were Ok, but didn’t seem particularly interested during my few office visits, and I was not impressed, or especially confident with them. Dr Vu, and his assistant Mark, are both the standard I think all general practice doctors should strive for. I have been impressed that he seems to be current on the latest treatments and medications. His diagnosis and recommendations have been right on. He listens, and actually seems to remember me, although I don’t go often, from visit to visit. I never feel rushed, yet never have to wait more than a few minutes to be seen. It seems like he actually schedules more time per appointment than other doctors

I have been with Dr. Vu for around 2 years now. Having Dr. Vu in our lives is almost as good as having concierge physician service without the extreme cost! We have never had a situation arise where Dr. Vu has not been available to see us, sometimes same day. It’s not that he does not have a huge practice, it is that he has a great staff that compliment him as a physician. Mark, the physician assistant is ALWAYS available to take a call, answer a question. Our first shock after switching doctors was getting a personal call from Dr. Vu at our home! HE called, which is unheard of! After my husband had his heart attack 9/​2013, it was very important to us that Dr. Vu was there to help us through the tough time of transitioning through a very important change in our lives. I almost do not want to share this great physician with anyone else, we love that he finds time to deal with our questions. He is quite young, and yes, English is his second language, but he always delivers information that we can totally understand. A great Physician!!!

Dr. Vu has been my primary physician for 5 years. He is a good listener, takes time to discuss health with me and is a very capable and competent doctor. I can recommend him without reservation.
