The Lotus Collaborative is an excellent eating disorder treatment center. I have had extensive experience with the founder and several staff members over the past few years. Most of the staff members have personally recovered from eating disorders which enables them to deeply empathize with and support clients. This team creates a sense of community by caring for clients and each other. I am particularly impressed by the diversity of TLC’s offerings — they hold free recovery and family support groups, and host a free Healing Collaborative which educates healers and the public about various holistic healing modalities that benefit eating disorder clients. TLC also offers body-based healing modalities including energy work, acupuncture, massage, and yoga. The staff is inviting of all genders and sexual orientations and diligently works to create a safe environment for all people to heal and thrive. The location is also very convenient and the ambiance is fresh and vibrant. Thank you to The Lotus Collaborative for the crucial care you provide!

This treatment center is outstanding. The quality of the staff is incredible; each is specialized in eating disorders which is hard to find. Very zen-like, warm, inviting environment inside. They truly care about each other and their clients, plus they incorporate yoga and other holistic integration into treatment which I really appreciated and thrived on.

When I first drove by The Lotus Collaborative it caught me off guard, a eating disorder treatment facility in santa cruz! Having grown up here I am well acquainted with the need for a caring and holistic center for healing and recovery from eating disorders, there has never been a resource like TLC. I did some research and contacted the owner and founder and set up a meeting. The building is a beautiful craftsman home decorated to make you feel comfortable. Silk flower lights, luxurious bean bag chairs, large vibrant paintings and sunlight make this place stand out as a different kind of healing space. Everyone there was so kind and welcoming and most importantly the staff were extensively trained in the field with previous experience in other centers. I am so overwhelmed with joy that TLC has made Santa Cruz her home. Our community has needed a place like this for so long and I can’t wait to see how this center develops as people learn about this resource.
