The service is the best in town. They have everything in stock. They are very knowledgable. My friends and I found what we needed. I purchased a talica 10ii and they helped me match it up to a phenix rod.
I will definitely go back for more fishing equipment.

Walked in just to look around. Walked out with a Talica 16. Great service by Danny and the other gentleman behind the counter.
Very big full service fishing store! Plan at least an hour if you plan to «just look around».
Will definitely recommend to anyone.

One of the best tackle shops in LA. Everyone is knowledgable about the fishing tackle and current fishing. If they don’t know, they will direct you to someone who does.
Roger always knows what’s going down and will take care of you. Diego is actively on the water so you will have the most recent reports for the fishing that is going on. When you’re there, they never hesitate to take care of you and will point you in the right direction. All items are competitively priced and if they don’t have an item, they can get it for you!
They are a factory repair site for Shimano and they do some of the best work. I’m usually too lazy to drive to Shimano and wait for 2 months, so I drop my stuff off at SavOn and its ready in about 2 – 3 weeks (depending on time of year, summer is always slower).
I will continue to do business with them. 5 stars all the way!

Sav-On Tackle is still the most extensive fishing only store in southern Calif. It is also one of the most expensive as well! They do have a great selection of the best/hottest lures, great reel repair (many parts in stock), large rod selection, and knowledgable staff (they all fish). This store has been around forever and gives you the feel of a mom and pop tackle shop with high end equipment. If your a fisherman you can literally spend hours in here… I have!
