Got my tint done here the other day and it came out so good! It looks so good! The inside of the place is nice and very relaxing although I didn’t hang around and wait I wouldn’t have mind staying there for a couple of hours. Really nice job and really nice guy!

So i used Unilocal app to look for a shop that is open on sunday and i landed on star window tint, first i read some of the reviews and almost all reviews are on 5 stars so i decided to request for a quote and kenny replied after 15min. And we agreed on sunday appointment cause thats my only free day, so my wife and i went to the shop, kenny greeted us very with a smile on his face explained to us the tint job and went right to it., so the lounge or waiting area is so cool you can see they really put time into making the waiting area comfortable as possible for the customer and it was so great free drinks, coffee and chocolates. So over all the tint job was great, it just took us less than an hour. Definitely gonna recommend to my friends and family.

Had my windows tinted about 2 weeks ago. Very happy with the results. Kenny is professional, timely and accomodating. His shop is easy to find, clean and has a very comfortable waiting area for customers. Will definitely send friends and family for tinting!

Got my tints done here a week ago. $ 130 for 35% tint on my Scion Frs. Took about an hour to complete. They did an awesome job. Highly recommended!

Brought in my Accord to get the entire car tinted, Kenny was beyond amazing helping me out!
He gave me several options to choose from as well as some sound advice which tint package to go with. He was extremely professional and did not try to up charge. The price was beyond reasonable, it was down right amazing! The quality of work was amazing, he really took his time to get the job done right!
I decided to wait at the shop to get the work done. The entire facility was extremely clean, the waiting area was awesome! Cable TV, free wifi… it’s comforting to see he re-​invests into his business to not only make it very professional, but also very comfortable and accommodating.

I called several places i found off of Unilocal to get different quotes, i wanted a good deal with lifetime warranty and this place had the best price! I showed up and the place was nice, clean, fresh, even offered refreshments while we waited the guy was kind. This was my goft to my husband for fathers day. We contacted three other auto tinting companies and only received a quick response from Star Window Tint. Kenny was not only quick in responding, but provided us all of the details to helps us at least head in the right direction in terms of what product to choose. The important thing is that he communicated with us constantly, unlike the other shops that just seemed too busy to respond.
Kenny was punctual, professional and very courteous, and explained the various options and pricing. We got 7 windows tinted on our Kia Optima, with the Rayno Ceramic tinting which gives you maximum protection from heat, and so far it’s worked great!
The shop is well located and easy to find (faces Imperial Hwy.), and Kenny worked swiftly to complete the job as promised, while we waited in the very nice guest lounge, it was very comfortable and well stocked with sweets, cold drinks and coffee… very nice touch! The viewing window into the shop from the waiting area is a great idea, as you can check on the tinting progress along the way… nothing to hide… all open so you can see Kenny’s expertise at work.
We were so happy with the Optima tinting, that we decided to get our Mitsubishi Outlander tinted a week later, which has stock tinting in the back windows, but non in the front. We decided to go with the same Rayno tint. Once again Kenny was already at the shop before our appointment, ready to get the job done, and he amazingly got it done fast and perfectly! Took in my 2013 Durango for complete window tints and Kenny took very good care of us. Covered all the bases and explained the differences even doing a quick sample as I was unsure how dark I wanted them. It’s had bubbles at first but by 3 days they were completely gone. Very pleased and will recommend to others.

Hello, today 6÷7÷2016, I got my tint done on my 2016 Ford Focus ST (Hatchback) I met with Kenny. He was very helpful in helping me choose the tint I needed. Overall it was a great experience, he was very professional and took about hour. I’d definitely recommend to a friend.

Initially contacted Kenny through Unilocal for a quote about a week ago and he got back to me within 30 minutes. Ended up calling him to set an appointment due to my erratic work schedule and got everything squared away.
Went in this morning and he explained the different types of films he stocks and the benefits of each. There’s a sample of each film in all the gradients offered on his shop’s window so I could see what each one looked like. Ultimately decided on the 3M Color Stable in 20% because I don’t want the film to fade.
He took my car around back to the bay and said it’d be done in about an hour and a half. There’s a window between the bay and waiting room so you can see what’s going on if you want. The waiting area is nice; has a TV, 2 couches, and a small refrigerator stocked with sodas, water, and Gatorade (complimentary).
He finished my car a bit under an hour and a half and everything came out great! He explained that the visible water spots would go away in a couple days as it dries.
Very pleased with the experience and would recommend checking out Star Window Tint!

One of the best places I found so far to get tint. Kenny was helpful in showing me the different types of tint and matching them to the manufacture tint I had in my vehicle. I was in and out in about 1 hour. I highly recommend this place!

Short version: This place is an incredibly affordable window tint installer that has great customer service and an upscale feel.
Long version: I asked for a quote yesterday and the business owner and operator Kenny wrote me back within an hour answering all my questions and specifying the quote. I was able to get the first appointment this morning so I took it. When I arrived Kenny promptly invited me in, explained my options to me in a no-​pressure manner, and after I made my choices showed me to his nicely anointed waiting room that has two leather sofas, a big screen tv, and free beverages of all varieties. The waiting room even has a window into the workshop where you can see your car being transformed! Kenny had quoted me an exact price and wait time and delivered on both accounts. I highly recommend him for your tint installation! The final product looks awesome, and it also carries a lifetime warranty against peeling, bubbling, and fading.

5 stars to Kenny at Star Window Tint. I made an appointment for 2:30 pm on a Saturday and Kenny was on the dot with keeping my appointment time despite having a customer ahead of me. He estimated that my car would take about 1.5 hours and I didn’t mind waiting as his lounge area makes it very comfortable for one to pass time.
He had a refrigerator stocked with cold beverages, a nice, plush couch to sit on, magazines, free wifi, and all the channels on cable tv. It was very relaxing for me to wait and catch up on all my guilty pleasures on tv :)
He finished just ahead of my estimated work time and of course, I’m completely satisfied with his work, quality, and reasonable price. I’ve been a customer of his back when he used to work in Norwalk and I’m glad he opened up his own business now.

This place is great from Kenny the owner to the waiting area very welcoming a home feeling. I got limo 5% in the back and 20% in the 2 front Windows. Love it I had some bubble in the back and a scratch in the driver side when I got it down last week. Message Kenny thru Unilocal.And was very attentive to get it right again I went back Friday morning he took off the front 2 tint and redid again and fixed the back bubble. Now I am very happy. I requested a quote here on Unilocal and got a response from Kenny, within the hour. I made an appointment for today at 8:30, and arrived a few minutes early. My car was taken right in and done in about 90 minutes. I am very satisfied with the service provided. My car looks awesome!

I’ve been going to same dentist, barber, dry cleaner, mechanic over 10years and I love finding a business I can trust and be loyal to them. While tinting a window isn’t as frequently needed but it’s good to be the regular here.

Kenny was great. I contacted him on Unilocal and he was quick responding every time. He answered all questions and was very friendly. He set me up with an appointment very next day and quoted me a wait time of 1hr 30 min and was done before that time. As far as the work itself, clean and quality. He did a great job and left my car looking great! Will be coming back again.

Excellent tinting on my daughter’s 2005 Toyota Camry in a timely manner at a reasonable price. Customer service was wonderful. Kenny was friendly and professional. The office was clean and welcoming. I never felt as at ease with my cars tint job and price than this spot. No BS, no run around with prices and no hassle. I’ve had several cars tinted over the years in at least four different spots in the Southern California area, received quotes and consultations in at least a dozen… needless to say, I know what a proper tint job should look like, how long it should last and when it’s done with love.
In one word, Star Window Tint is legit. I found them on Unilocal and was impressed by the quality of their work. After calling the shop I spoke to Kenny to see if I could drop by without an appointment after work and luckily I was able to get my car evaluated without any wait at all. I met with Kenny and he took the time to show me different shades to find the right one, gave a few opinions with explanations for me to weigh my own options instead of pushing anything on me that I didn’t want. After getting Kenny’s expert suggestions and advice (and also doing some research on my own) I decided to get the Ceramic tint done for my car.
You can tell they love what they do. They meticulously took their time well after closing hour to make sure it’s perfect.
The final result is superb. Kenny even managed to tint over that tricky dot matrix on the rear window — I’ve never seen that done in all the shops I’ve visited! These guys are definitely pros.
Overall, if you’re looking for a tint job, strongly consider Star Window Tint! You for real won’t be disappointed and you’ll be driving home glad. I contacted quite a few tint shops in the area looking to get a ceramic tint. Living in Southern California, heat is no stranger and I didn’t want the insides of my new car to cook in the heat! I also didn’t want to spend a fortune for good quality film/​protection.
I’m very glad my search led me to Kenny, because he was very was upfront with pricing and was extremely patient with all of my questions. He is definitely a no-​pressure sort of guy and will accommodate any requests you have. He’s honest and great at what he does. What more can you ask for? Will definitely be going to him for all my future auto tint needs!

Needed to find somewhere to tint my hubby’s brand new car. Looked to Unilocal and this place had great reviews. And of course, they were right! From the moment walking in we were greeted with a smile and the guy was super nice the whole way through.
We got a great deal on my hubby’s car and I decided to do mine as well. We did them on seperate days, but both days he was ready to start the car when we arrived and it was ready at the time he said. He was very honest and I trusted him with our cars.
You can tell he takes pride in his business. The waiting room was the nicest waiting room I have seen. It had a beautiful leather couch, a nice flat screen tv, cool no touch trash cans, and a mini see through fridge that had complimentary drinks. They were good choices too. He made sure we grabbed one each time.
I was very happy with the service and will refer my friends here!

Came here two days ago because of a referral from my friend who knows Kenny. I went to the wrong building at first and thought he was closed. :D He wasn’t picking up his phone either but turned out my friend decided to change one digit of his number to something else. LOL.
Anyways, as soon as I entered the correct building, Kenny popped out right away. I chose to do the carbon tint. Got a really good deal from him! The place is nice. It was really hot out and there was A/​C. He took me over to the waiting room! :D Various free beverages (FREE :D), free wifi, cable, candy/​snacks. Obviously I took advantage of this.
He told me 1.5 hours and that is exactly the length of time it took for my car. My car looks super sexy thanks Kenny! He’s extremely friendly guys. Don’t waste your time anywhere else and give this guy your business.

I called around many places around Fullerton to tint my new Nissan Leaf. Found Kenny and am very happy that I went to him. Very professional and pleasant office. Wifi and free drinks while you wait. My ceramic tint from Solarguard looks very nice.
I did 35% all around with 20% for the hatch. Looks very classy. Will be back with any future cars.

I thought this would be a good time to update my review as Kenny has now moved to a new location.
I seldom see reviews that specifically focus on long term satisfaction so I thought it would be helpful to do one for the tint job I got at Star Window Tint more than a year and half ago.
Well, whats there to say, the tint job is still perfect, no snags, fading, blurs, scratches or anything else that would annoy me. The tint looks and performs as good as the day it was installed. Judging by how the tint is holding up, I can see how he can offer lifetime warranty and still stay in business LOL.

Just got my car tinted at Star Tint. Glad I came here!
I have Huper Optik ceramic on my wife’s car and really like the clarity, look and heat reduction of the film. I was looking to see if I could get a good deal on the best stuff for my new ride. I had looked into Huper Optik, 3M Crystallin, and FormulaOne Pinnacle but the prices were outrageous! I was referred to Star Tint by a friend who recently got ceramic tint from them and raved that it was awesome!

I asked about their ceramic film and Kenny (owner) showed me a heat demonstration that totally blew my mind. The heat test proved to me that if you want heat rejection there really was no choice but to get ceramic. I couldn’t feel any heat with ceramic film while NR film and HP film were unbearably hot under a heat lamp.
Kenny told me that if I want a tint job that is durable, rejects as much heat as currently possible and have a super clear view, I would not be disappointed with this purchase. I really appreciated his confidence because it assures me that the business knows what they’re doing and stands behind the work.
He also told me that I should consider how reflective a film is because based on his experience, some customers don’t consider reflectiveness of a tint and may be dissatisfied with tint choice because they didn’t expect such a reflective look from the outside or how distracting reflections can be from the inside (something to consider). He told me not to worry though because his best ceramic tint is also one of the least reflective tints on the market so I was happy to learn of that.
The Results!
I got ceramic window tint all around (except windshield) for under $ 300!
It took less than 2 hours to do the job and it looks great right out of the shop!
The windows look very clear and look premium. The job was done very clean, the interior of the car looked clean and undisturbed.
All in all, I’m very happy with the job and the fact that I saved over $ 200 for a superior product makes me feel like my research paid off and I got a great bargain without compromise.

The guys here originally had a shop in Artesia with great reviews but is starting over after their move to Santa Fe Springs.
I have to say I was really impressed. Not only did I get an amazing deal on a top notch 3M Ceramic Tint, the workmanship and professionalism was second to none. The waiting area is clean, comfortable, generous (free drinks in fridge) and there’s even a window to look at the progress of your car.
I thought G5 in Alhambra was good (my last car tint) but this blew G5 out of the water. Did I mention I got a great deal? I paid almost half what I paid G5 last year for the same exact tint on my last car!
