Passed by to pick up some skate park wheels for my board today. Called right as he closed but didn’t figure that out till I got there about 7:15p. Like a true great business owner this guy made the extra effort to help me get what I wanted even tho he closed.

I went here to pick something up for my brother’s birthday, the customer service was great the girl in the front was really sweet and helpful! I know nothing about skateboarding but she led me to the right direction! My brother loved his gift. Nice local shop! All the others were far from me!

If the skate industry was high school (it is at times) Active and Zumiez would be the jocks getting ready for prom and senior ditch day while UnModern was out skating a parking block, going to punk shows, and hanging out all night watching skate videos and eating pizza. No pressure, no vibing, no nonsense. Shout out to Adan and Orlando for keeping it stocked and for having one of the funnest ramps around and keeping the scene going round these parts.

Price Range: This shop carries a wide verity of skateboard gear. If you are on a tight budget they will meet your needs. If you want a top notch, top dollar, best of brand skateboard, they will also carry what you need.
Deck Selection — They always have the right size board, from 7 7⁄8th to 10.5 inch widths.
Street Deck Brands I can recall — Flip, Creature, Powell (Old school shapes), Alien Workshop, Elephant Brand, Krooked, Antihero, Deathwish
If you want a longboard they have Rayne, Loaded, Riviera, Comet, Arbor, Earthwing Penny, blanks
Wheels — Bones, Spitfire, OJ, Anything worth being under your feet is sold here. Prices have always been great when I have come here to buy wheels.
Showroom is well presented, clean and neat. It houses Artwork. Orlando and Adan offer professional help.

they are very helpful, I have gone in there at least 5 times and gotten 4 boards from them. The workers are chill and kickback, its usually not crowded and whoever is there is usually down to talk and bullshit for a while. Very wide selection and prices are better than anything I have found online. From Santa Fe Springs to Brea and Fullerton there are only a hand full of skate shops, but none with as much longboard selection as unmodern. If longboarding or skateboarding is your thing I would say check em out

THE best shop around.
Its kinda hidden, but once youre there they have a great selection and the guys that work there are more than happy to help you out.
Not like some other shops, were there always behind the counter and expect you to know what you want.
Adan and Orlando have a passion for skating and thats what sets this shop apart.
