This place is a goldmine. So it is actually Awaken Café right now as the owners passed it off to another owner during their extended stay in CA. The new owner could not be making a more awesome place. Everything is raw and vegan. I had the best veggie sandwich ever with a whole bunch of different fresh and delicious vegetables. I also got a cold brew coffee which is superb. I was also intrigued to find out even their hot coffee is cold brew heated up leading to a smooth coffee lacking any bitter flavors… in the words of the owner, «We just really like the extraction process.» I haven’t even seen the trendiest coffee places in Boston try this yet. It is a nice mellow place to go get some work done as well. And you can tell that they really care about their customers and the quality of the food and drink they are producing. I would come here every day if I wasn’t from out of town.

In town for the morning and wanted great coffee. Tried to go there Friday morning at 8:30, closed. No sign, nothing. ??? Really wanted to try their coffee, reviews are outstanding. Wish I could’ve participated!

Delicious coffee, awesome people, cool space! We came in and they were experimenting with a coffee drink with Chimayo chiles and gave us a sample to try and then poured us a cup because we were in love with it! Soooo good! A must stop when you’re in Santa Fe!

We stopped by here on our roadtrip. Really delicious chai, and the BBQ coffee was really good too! I think the owner was making a soho or something when we were there. We didn’t get to try it, but it smelled delicious!

«I hope you weren’t expecting any lettuce, because there isn’t any in the salad.» Quintessential Santa Fe statement, for sure. This is the kind of abode that makes me especially jealous of the City Different. I’ve stated this in other reviews, and I’ll say it again: a big part of the reason I don’t like Santa Fe is because I’m jealous of what the city offers. This café is a perfect example. Off the beaten path near the plaza, it’s just this tiny joint with a really colorful owner who brews eh, decent coffee, really great food and this sweet, quirky woman in the corner who stares at her phone and delivers the plates. Totally weird, authentic and healthy. The salad was indeed sans lettuce, filled instead with«greens from my neighbor’s garden»(chard and various spicy leafs, obviously organic), grated beets, celery and a light vinaigrette. The kind of stuff that, upon swallowing, literally makes you a better person. Crunchy, for sure, and I’m not referring to texture, so if you’re not a fan of superhealthy food you best avoid this stuff. This isn’t to say that the entire menu is freaky good-for-you; there appeared to be some standard sandwich options, too. And the soup? Killer. Free wifi, decent tunes and a mystifying bathroom situation wherein the toilet is behind an unmarked door and you’ll need to ask for a key.

Very poor coffee and cappuccino. Not sure why the other great reviews. My coffee was not even warm and the cappuccino was weak.

My friend and I came across this quaint coffee shop as we were exploring Santa Fe. The owner is really cool; the coffe, awesome! My friend and I also ate the divine oatmeal/milk chocolate/white chocolate raisin cookie. This coffee shop also has tea and good food. If you’re ever in Santa Fe, I highly recommend checking out this coffee shop!

A great little place off the path in Santa Fe. Great. Coffee and recommend the Onion Soup as well the watermelon gazpacho. A quiet corner that also is very dog friendly.

Run, do not walk to this fabulous coffee café. We had a sublime cold press latte(with coffee ice cubes) and a delicious breakfast sandwich. While others are around the corner waiting in long lines for their brunch, we are enjoying a quiet patio dining experience. Love this place!

Fabulous cold brewed iced coffee. Definitely recommend it. Very cool little coffee shop and ideal for some chilled out quiet time. Outside seating in the rear too but we just hung out inside. Review from a visitor from London who likes good quality, artisan coffee! Will definitely visit again before I leave.

Super great cold brewed iced coffee, interesting straws, good music, plenty of seating indoor and outdoor, wifi & power, good prices, and a really cool owner. This coffee stop deserves 5 stars easily.

Sandwiches for 2 with gazpacho for under $ 25 delivered to our door? HOLYCOW! Granted, they had run out of the avocado gazpacho, but I think we called in our order minutes before they were going to close. The chicken sandwiches were wonderful and the watermelon gazpacho was a great substitute. And actually, when we both looked at the menus(there are two), both our eyes lighted up… I really want to try the Hawaiian Sandwich next. We added the menu to our employee file of places to get food at when we are at work immediately.

We saw a write-up on Arroyo Coffeebar in a local publication, and we had to add it to our list of stops on our self-designed tour of NM coffee shops. The address is a little deceptive, as you rely seem to enter from Shelby Street(it is on the edge of a little arcade of shops). This place is tiny, tiny, tiny on the inside — as though someone sliced a sliver off another store. No matter, though, as they manage to do a LOT more in their small space than a number of other shops we visited were doing with four times the size. We had a great chat with the owner and learned about his cold brew method of creating a coffee base. I had a hot latte, and an iced sparkling water drink he currently calls Fire and Ice(I think this has a coffee base, with a chipotle raspberry sauce, topped with sparkling water). Having tried lattes at something like 8 different shops in the past few days, I have buzzed on a LOT of coffee. This was a nice, smooth latte without a lot of bitterness or acidity. I was impressed with the smoothness. The Fire and Ice, on the other hand, did not really work for me. I could really pick up the raspberry, but was not getting the chipotle(in fairness, the sign described it as having a jalapeño base, so i was expecting something other than what i got). This was one of the sweetest drinks I have had in any shop in NM, but I just did not relish the combination. The owner indicated he is working on this one, and has not found the winning combo just yet. Arroyo also serves food, from a tiny kitchen. My husband had a really nice made-to-order sandwich, but I am sorry to say that I don’t know which one he ordered. There are also some pastries outsourced from a local bakery. In short, one won’t starve here. Arroyo has a nice spot on the Plaza in Santa Fe. As noted, indoor seating is scarce, but there is a nice patio. The owner and his assistant were very friendly and willing to assist. They also seemed genuinely interested in their customers; we did not feel like we were bothering them by entering the shop. Customers appeared to include several regulars, i.e., other business owners, but also other first-timers like us. If you are in the area and looking for a place to take a break from shopping, this is a good choice.

We dropped in for a late morning latte and enjoyed that. We also took out an egg salad wrap to share for lunch at home. Both were delicious and the owners, new to Santa Fe, are enthusiastic and welcoming. This was an enjoyable experience.

The food is Delicious! Very well made with quality ingredients. The staff is always chipper and helpful. I’ve never been inside, because they deliver! Within a certain area, I’m sure. As hairstylists we rarely have the time to go get anything so it’s super awesome to have great, affordable food delivered in such a timely manner!
