This location has a fair selection of sporting goods, and the staff is friendly and reasonably knowledgeable. However the amunition here is wildly overpriced, in some cases by one hundred percent or more, yeah, not a fan of them charging $ 20.00 for what, anywhere else would be a $ 7.50 box of .223.

After looking at 6(!) other places for shoes to fit my wife’s(perhaps odd-sized) feet, we finally went to Big 5. There they were. We were afraid the company’d quit making them. We bought the last pair at an unexpected bargain price, and would’ve bought more if they had them in stock. Friendly folks at a perhaps unnoticed location. Go there.

This place confuses me… Granted they were having an incredible sale where I got most everything I needed for my snorkling class this semester, but it’s pretty chaotic with the odd customer base. The cashiers seemed to have everything in control at first, but these middle-aged women were all over the store with a «YOU, yes YOU need to be right here helping me right NOW!» thing going that was totally irritating. Man am I glad that I don’t work retail because I would have decked a few of these ladies without thinking twice. And the Manager on duty was totally cool, but didn’t have much of a clue where to find the item I wanted since this store doesn’t carry the product I wanted…
