As a collector and a huge fan of all things Comic… I am stoked to have a store like the BAC. They have they latest issues including awesome independent and local comics. The staff is very cool and always seem ready to help you find anything. I love hearing about about new comics and why the staff likes a particular writer or artist. Support your local comic book store!!!

I’m not a fan of comic books or animé– so WHYAM I HERE? I’m the parent of someone who’s into comic books and animé. So FORPARENTS– there’s a table to sit at which is nice! AND centipede and GALAGA! It’s old school! If that’s not your thing then you can sit on a chair(provided) at the table(provided) and write reviews of the quant store you took your 14 year old daughter and NOTONCE was there a complaint! She even smiled when she found Manga(she’d be so proud of me speaking her language)!! Parents… You know how it goes– if your 14 yo is happy– your happy. ITS a cute place with lots of comics and a good bit of Animé! Nice job owners!

Cool spot(and one of the only spots) for comics and M: TG in Santa Fe. Stopped in while passing through for some magic singles and boosters. Friendly staff, good selection of M: TG singles and sets.

Let me start with admitting I have a bit of a bias towards this comics and games store. This is because I am good friends with the current owner, whom I watched work is way up from employee to give it a new name. He works endlessly, and that shows every day. Kevin impresses me with his ability to cultivate an environment where good people meet others like themselves. I had forgotten how to play magic the Gathering when I went to an event one Friday night, and no one in there was less than eager to remind me of the rules. I get recommendations for graphic novels such as Kill Shakespeare by both employees and other customers. This place has grown both physically(added space) and in every other way. As I like to say every time I drive by the building: All hail Big Adventure!

They’ve just added a meet-up discussion group for comic and graphic novel lovers. It meets the last Saturday in the month at 2pm. Check it out of you’re age 17 – 100.

This is the only comic book store I know that is on track with the new releases of issues! Throughout venturing comic books in Albuquerque, some of them are months behind, this is the only place that really keeps track on everything! Up to date with everything! Also, perfectly on time with new issues released!!! GREATPLACE! I recommend!

Formerly known as True Believer’s Comics, this retail establishment has a new name and a new owner. The location is awesome(right next to Whole Foods and 4 Star Tattoo), and now is venturing into the whole gaming thing, especially Magic the Gathering… If you are a frequent buyer(like myself) and establish a pull-list, you can get a decent discount on your weekly comic book buys. It’s very relaxed and all the employees are comic book fans and not just retail sales people, so you can ask questions and get knowledgeable answers. Oh, and if you are parched, they also now sell soft drinks because shopping for comic books is hard work!
