If you’re looking for a home cooked meal in a quiet, beautiful location — this is the place to go. I had an omelette that was stuffed with juicy fresh veggies and I could easily tell that the ingredients used were carefully chosen and prepared. My boyfriend had the breakfast burrito that made his face instantly light up upon the first bite.(And trust me, he’s a breakfast burrito connoisseur) This delightful little café is charming beyond belief with excellent warm service and comforting, savory food.

Had a great breakfast home-made omelet with a hot chocolate — it was refreshing to be somewhere so quiet and with great views and great hospitality. Sat on the patio and enjoyed the fresh morning air!

My wife and I have dined at Café Aldea many times over the past few years and never been the least bit disappointed. The owner, Ferdy, provides a warm welcome and great food. Over time he has even adapted our orders to match our preferences. This morning’s breakfast burritos were the best yet. Do yourself a favor and drop in for a bite.

When the owner of an establishment treats you like your the best customer in the world on your first visit that says something about both the integrity and passion of the café. Owner, Ferdy, welcomes you like family, and provides great home-cooked meals and treats. The Chai tea is a treat too. Drop by Café Aldea, grab a cuppa, hit the free wi-fi and relax for a while.

Really tasty food. I had one of the two specials which was shrimp with coconut curry and green chile sauce with a side of black-eyed peas and saffron rice. There’s a fairly broad menu for breakfast and lunch/dinner, plus the specials which are always changing. They don’t have late hours, though, so it has to be an early dinner: 9am-3pm Mon to Wed and 9am-7pm Thurs to Sun. You can apparently order pizzas for pick-up and takeaway. The guy who owns the place is incredibly friendly and cheerful. He took our orders and served us(we were the only ones there). He’s currently trying to drum up business by having singer/songwriters come in every couple Saturday nights(no cover!), and recently there was a ‘Roman Holiday’ night where people came to watch ‘Roman Holiday’ together on the TV and he prepared Italian food. They also sell a few grocery items, mainly drinks, like bottles of wine, tea, bags of chips, etc. This place deserves more business than it gets. Good food at a good price in a café run by friendly people.
