They did not have very good Mexican food. The salads were very good. They have a daily special. The women’s restroom was dirty and needed attention. The service was good.

Great food, small cozy restaurant, friendly staff. I was lucky to get a beautiful table by the window without a reservation during last minute business trip adventure. They made me feel welcome, provided great recommendations, local organic produce… So much more than I expected to find coming from a big city. I came for dinner(I hear breakfast is where it’s at), and the green chili tamale was a delicious appetizer. For dinner I had a juicy pork plate(I don’t remember the name but it was wrapped in plantain leaves and came with mango) that was flavorful with a great savory/sweet touch

Best Mexican food I’ve ever had in a restaurant! Came for breakfast and was so impressed! The restaurant is very cozy and had a lot of character, the service was wonderful and the food was amazing. Came for breakfast my last day in Santa Fe… next time I’m in town I will have as many meals here as possible

It was my birthday and having dinner at Café Pasqual’s was the best gift ever! From the time we walked in the door, I knew it was the right choice not only for a great meal but for a great experience. The hostess surprised us by decorating our table with ‘birthday glitter’ — how sweet is that? Mario, our server, was extraordinary — a consummate professional. All of the waitstaff worked together like a well oiled machine, so smooth you hardly noticed. The food was delicious, especially the mole enchiladas and the plate of cookies DIVINE!

Good not great. Classic corner in Santa Fe. Fun flavors, interesting choices. The tamale was good, the veggie burger was good. Fell short on the desserts, nothing I couldn’t live without ordering.

Great food, worth the wait. I had the moltinenos which sounded kind of creepy but was really good. My husband had the trout hash and he enjoyed it as well. Definitely a place to go back to when in Santa Fe.

What a fantastic place in Santa Fe New Mexico. Be prepared to wait, this place is busy. This restaurant is small, but boy I tell you, the food is superb! I ordered the Trout hash with a cappuccino. Also, I had a organic ginger pineapple juice that was amazing. They close at 3:00pm for breakfast and reopen at 5pm for dinner, but if your name is on the list by this time they will seat you. Excellent establishment and after eating here I would wait again. Beautiful staff all the way around and hats off to the chef! Fabulous job to the owner(s) and crew!

You should believe the hype. BREAKFAST. Everything we had their was amazing. Décor is a treat. Pineapple, orange, ginger juice is like nothing you’ve ever had. My husband claims it was the best omelet he’s ever had. I had BARBACOA with poached eggs atop. Even the English muffin is the best English muffin you’ve ever had! Homemade raspberry preserves too. Coffee was weak so that’s why 4 stars. We waited 35 min and I have no regrets. Also, a very expensive breakfast as well. Each entrée around $ 17. Everyone is happy at Pasquale’s. A must do in downtown Santa Fe.

This is one of my favorite places to go in Santa Fe. Located in the Plaza area, this very small restaurant is a local favorite. It is always packed, and the wait could be long, but it is worth it. Try to come a little early for your meal. We arrived at 9 am for breakfast on a Sunday and waited maybe 10 minutes for a group of 5. I was in the mood for a good southwestern dish and opted for the grilled polenta with chorizo and red chili sauce. It is served with two eggs and a corn tortillas. This was fantastic! The dish had the perfect amount of spice to it. The polenta was crispy on the outside and nice and fluffy inside. My husband had the huevos barbacoa. I tried a few bites, and it was also amazing! The service is fast. The prices are a little on the higher side for breakfast, but it is worth it! If you are looking for some great southwestern food, be sure to stop in here!

Great local breakfast joint! I absolutely loved the vibe and the servers were so friendly and welcoming! They have your usual breakfast staples but the one I regret not ordering was what our neighboring table ordered which was the cheese blitzes! Oh my wow! So don’t make the same mistake as me, just go ahead and order that as soon as you sit!

We were in a rush to get to the airport but allowed time for a quick lunch and I’m glad we did. The chicken sandwich was wonderful with interesting flavor a and a crunchy bread unlike any other. The spices and flavors in the enchiladas were so authentic and the cilantro rice was a excellent

This place was great but I’m not sure that it warrants the hefty prices. If you want to try it out be prepared to pay. With 4 people we spent $ 60 plus dollars not including a tip on a shared salad, a half a chicken sandwich with soup and side and a burger.

Excellent service but something was missing with the mole! It use to be spot on, but somehow they’ve redone the recipe !? Otherwise I recommend the cochinita pibil in banana leaves! It’s really a true representation of Guatemalan cooking! Great job ! Service was excellent

Wow! They do have the best BLT — chile rubbed bacon, green chile, grill corn bread. It’s really good. Combined with their home fries, this was a gut filler. So much so, that I had leftovers. Be prepared to wait, but at least you can put your name at the door. They do have tasty desserts — strawberry shortcake with cornmeal(I think??) biscuit. Again, I’m really digging the corn.

I loved everything about this place with exception of the crowds. I was actually hesitant to go because I am often disappointed when a place is hyped up, but I was pleasantly surprised. There is always a long wait, dinner reservations are a must. The wait for a table at lunchtime was quoted at about 1.5−2 hours, but we were willing to sit at the community table, and were seated right away. I really enjoyed the big table as we talked to lots of people on holiday which is always a treat to me. We had the Butternut Squash soup(which is vegan). I didn’t order it because 1) I typically despise butternut squash, and 2) if you check out my bio, you will see I don’t like soup. Despite the fact that I was not the one who ordered it, I ended up eating 1⁄3 of the cup! It was so flavorful that what started out as just a lick turned into me scooping in as much as I could in one spoonful. My friend and I both ordered the quinoa burger. I am one of those rare vegans who doesn’t go nuts over quinoa, it’s ok, but I could take it or leave it. It worked in this burger. It was again, so flavorful. I really just don’t know what other word to use! Each bite was a party in my mouth. I will say, it was a sloppy mess. Eating it as a sandwich or «burger» as the name implied was just impossible beyond the first 2 bites. We declined desert so I can’t speak to that. The service was attentive but not overbearing despite the environment resembling a mad house. The décor and handmade serving dishes added to the beauty of the place. I remained in Santa Fe for 2 more months after visiting, and I occasionally thought about that yummy burger, however the idea of the wait and plaza parking was enough to keep me from going again. It’s a great place to take visitors, or have a special meal, but that’s about it due to the size of the space, and the popularity.

First of all this place is tiny but very charming Make a reservation for sure Unbelievable menu so fresh and really creative Love the atmosphere and the shared tables. Feel like you are eating in someone’s home Wait staff was very friendly but did not hover Did I mention you need a reservation? There was a line outside the door when I arrived right at 5:30pm for my feast You gotta try this place!

This is hands down my favorite place to eat in Santa Fe. The mole enchiladas are probably my favorite food in the world, thanks to Café Pasqua’sl. Whenever I visit Santa Fe, I make absolute sure that I come here at least once. The salads they offer as appetizers are crisp, fresh and flavorful. The last time I was here I had the Green Goddess Salad and loved every bite. The mole enchiladas are heavenly. I have ordered different things here a few times, but I stopped doing that a while ago, because I cannot find mole ones that taste this good anywhere else. Why would I mess with a good thing?! I topped off the meal with the date milkshake. Also heavenly. Go here. You won’t regret it!

Wow, what a popular place with kinda steep prices! We had about a 45 minute wait for brunch on a Sunday, and since it was pouring rain, all of us were huddled in a very tiny area, careful to not just randomly swing an arm and accidentally turn over a full tray as a waitress walked by. I ordered the Smoked Trout since it came so highly recommended. Salty, but not too salty, and heavy but not overwhelmingly so. Bestie ordered huevos rancheros which was also pretty good — very saucy. There was a couple a few tables away that ordered the breakfast burrito — wow! That looked SUPER delicious but it was the size of a very tall man’s shoe. We also starred enviously at a couple ladies who were indulging in these huge bowls full of coffee, but we were in no shape to overeat on this part of our adventure. Next time.

Well, finally on the homestretch of review writing from my recent trips. Café Pasqual’s came with a rave recommendation from my sister’s self-described food maven friend who used to live here. It’s clearly popular with the tourists, like us. Following the instructions we were given, we requested a table«upstairs» Little did we know that upstairs was actually a tiny mezzanine, which held maybe 16 max. It didn’t feel cramped, but it was hardly the quieter more relaxed enclave I’d envisioned. Our waiter seemed pretty harried when he approached the table, and had an accent which was a little difficult to understand over the ambient noise level. As the evening progressed, though, he relaxed a little and we became accustomed to his voice. Their menu says it changes every day, depending on what’s in the market, but actually much of it stays the same. I never understand why they print a daily menu, but then have other specials they have to recite? We’d been eating a lot on this trip so decided to tone it down a little on this dinner: Fried Green Tomatoes with remoulade sauce 3 stars: The tomatoes were a little too ripe to do this type of preparation justice, I thought. Although they were very tangy, virtually no sweet note, they weren’t as firm as they might have been, so you didn’t get that happy combo of cornmeal crunch next to vegetable crunch. They were in a word soggy. The remoulade was more of a blended vinaigrette. I would have like an emulsion, more like a mayo type remoulade sauce to offset the extreme tartness of these tomatoes GRILLEDDOUBLELAMBCHOPFROMTALUSWINDRANCH ~ Pomegranate Molasses, Sauteed cucumbers and cherry tomatoes, Potato Chive Cake 4 stars: The chops were perfectly cooked, and I thought the local lamb was tender, juicy and tasted very fresh. The glaze, while classic pomegranate, was the perfect sweet and earthy off set. The potato cake was forgettable, and the cucumbers had a little too much mint for me. GRILLEDANGUSRIBEYE with romano beans and quinoa salad 3.5 stars: This might have been a 4, except my sister ordered it medium, which was too done for me. The romano beans were delicious, though We skipped dessert. Word to the large, if you’re more than 5’8″ and 170 lbs or so, you probably won’t be able to fit into the bathroom. It was smaller than a closet. Food: 31⁄40 Service: 17⁄20 Atm/intang: 17⁄20 Value: 16⁄20 Overall: 81⁄100

Came here for brunch last Monday at around 10 am. At that time, wait was only about 15 minutes for three people. I would recommend coming here on a weekday unless you are willing to go hangry for a long time. Pros: — fun atmosphere, especially when seated at the communal table — great Mocha latte(with almond milk) — good intro to Santa Fe flavors — inexpensive — good, quick service Cons: — great that it’s funky and artsy but it’s one of those places that’s not entirely clean/spotless –wait can be long
