This very well might be the best ice cream I’ve ever tasted(and as a well-traveled ice cream connoisseur I do not say this lightly). A must-stop in Santa Fe! I am crawling out from years of just lurking on Unilocal and posting my first review because I can’t believe this place has so few. Tried and loved a handful of the homemade flavors: toasted marshmallow s’more(my favorite, with freshly torched marshmallow on top), salted caramel, mint chip, honey lavender, lemon poppyseed, and rocky road. All were incredibly creamy and the flavors were well balanced(not overly sweet or too heavy on the more unique ingredients). The owner is super friendly, not stingy on the samples, and you can tell she loves what she does. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

This place is awesome — hand-crafted gelato, try the coconut. They have all kinds of unique flavors. Really yummy!

I was in the mood for some ice cream and after having read about this place, I was so excited to check it out! It was a little hard to find near a Lowe’s in a shopping plaza on your way to I-25 from Cerillos Road. However, once inside, the owner was so amazing and helpful. She encouraged me to try a few different flavors, and she talked about how she has created her recipes, how many different kinds of recipes she currently has, and how wonderful her first year in business is. I tried the Santa Fe Piñón, a chocolate jalapeño, and a rose flavored ice cream. I finally decided on a cup of half Piñón and half cookies and cream. This ice cream is the most amazing ice cream I have probably ever had from an actual business. It tastes homemade, and is super creamy and flavorful. If you are a huge fan of ice cream and love to enjoy it almost daily, you MUST try Cloud 9! The owner is so wonderful to talk with and hear about her passion for her creations. I love Santa Fe, and will definitely make sure to stop by whenever I am in town!

Hands down the best ice cream in the state, blows Taos cow out of the water and infinitely better than any of the chains in Santa Fe. They make it fresh daily and have plenty of creative flavors as well as old standbys. Not much more to say, go have a sample and you’ll see what I mean.

Locally invented flavors & made in-store, this is some fun, soft, creamy, tasty ice cream. But I’ll let the photo I posted do the talking about Cloud 9’s sugar art: Cookie Monster & Toasted Marshmallow S’mores ice cream!

I am absolutely surprised at how few reviews there are of this place. I must say, this is one of the best ice cream places I have been to. This is a New Mexico gem. First of all, all the ice cream is «homemade,» and tastes super natural. It has this creamy, delicious taste to each bite. There are an incredible amount of flavors, and most of them are interesting flavors you won’t find at other places. The staff is very friendly, and never hesitated to let me try the flavors. Let’s start with the flavors. Some of the local flavors included: Santa Fe piñon(absolutely delicious, a must try, at the very least), green chile(I love green chile, and had to try it, but wouldn’t recommend it for an ice cream), lavender(I don’t know how to describe it, tastes like. lavender). I also tried the salted caramel, pistachio, coffee, and the Cookie Monster(cookie dough mixed with Oreos). I ended up getting a regular, which got you two scoops. I can never say no to salted caramel, so I got that, and ended up getting Cookie Monster as well. Overall, definitely a 5/5, and if you’re in the Santa Fe area, there is NOWAY, you can not go here! Enjoy!
