The veggie burger is amazing! The house margarita is huge and yummy, for only 7bucks!

Went in looking for«The Best Burger in Town» and walked out very disappointed. The service was beyond slow and the food was just ok. To top it off, please Mexican mule was terrible too.

Disappointed as the reviews noted great burgers. We ate here as a storm was approaching and it neighbors our lovely hotel. Unfortunately, four of fives guests at our table ordered burgers to be prepared medium rare. All were served well to well done by a server other than ours. Then, our server did not check how our meal was in a timely fashion. The fifth order was the Nachos Royale in which the toppings were okay, but it must have set before being served because the chips were soggy. We also ordered a bottle of wine, but only a glass was delivered. When asked to correct it, the bartender again questioned if we wanted a bottle. It was also awkward because two of our party were served desserts before the remaining three were finished with the main course and then were still waiting to order dessert. Basically, the server was so busy our party was abandoned. The margaritas were great and kudos manager Uriah for his professionalism and efforts to make amends.

This place was alright. Prices weren’t terrible but not great either. It’s kinda expected for eating in downtown Santa Fe. Everything is usually over priced. Service was good. Staff was friendly. The definite plus is that it’s one of the few places that’s open later in the evening in downtown Santa Fe.

We love Del Charro! This is usually our first stop when we get into town for our visit. We love their house margaritas with a floater of Grand Marnier. Their nachos and Pozole are delicious! Service is great. We’ll see you next year!

This is best value in Santa Fe. When we walked in we were pleased to find a spot by the fire place. The waiter was friendly and efficient and the Margarita was strong a plentiful! Best wings I have had in a long time and the corn chowder was amazing and had green chile!!! We were shocked by how reasonable the prices are as well!

Cool décor and atmosphere, food wasn’t that great. I got chicken tenders and my friend got wings. Pretty basic. Their fries were pretty good. The ranch was good too. Our waitress was kind of rude and said she couldn’t split the cost of some salsa we got($ 3.50) — I call BS on that.

I enjoy going to del charro every one in a while I usually go in late afternoons and always get good service but yesterday was great … My server was Corry she was great! she started to get busy so the manager stepped in to help, he was very nice man with glasses I believe his name was Alejandro. He stopped to check if everything was going well. I mentioned the fries were a bit cold but besides that everything was going great! Without asking he quickly came out with a new batch of fries! Very nice man!

I have been coming to this bar since my first visit years ago with my girlfriends. The first time there were four mountain men sitting at the bar. They were dressed in suede fringed jackets and hats and they all had long beards. What a sight. It’s still a great bar to watch the locals and the tourists. The house margaritas are 7.00 and what deal especially in Santa Fe. The food is always good. Yummy nachos and great burgers If you stay at the Inn Of Governors you get 15.00 a day per room to use at this fun bar. You have to book directly with the Inn. It’s a place you should not miss

Decent food and service, bizarre people watching, interesting margarita options, abso-freaking-lutely terrible music(grunge is dead for a reason, dudes), and old school legislative mancave vibe. I’ll be back for a ‘Rita when the marg trail opens.

Only this Miamian can go to the other side of the country and meet somebody at a bar that was a Miami Dolphins fan. I question his taste in football and well as the food. However I did like the bars aura. It was very cozy.

good food, nice patio, affordable prices! Fast, Friendly service. We were looking for great quality food, without spending a lot of money, this fit the bill! Was so impressed we took friends back later the same evening when they were searching for a place to eat.

Love this place! Stick to this combo: drink to die for — Del Charo Silvercoin(made with local Santa Fe ‘Silvercoin’ tequila quite simply the best tequila you will ever have. Made by local Larry!) Best food choice: Kobe Sliders with beer battered fries. I personally love the waitress Pauline, such a sweetheart. Pauline also tends bar on Wednesday day till 5pm, WHEN you want serious pours. Pauline loves New Orleans, just ask her about the ‘Big Easy!‘ I am going tomorrow!

Solid, but didn’t live up to the hype. Margaritas, although cute with the shaker action, were a little weak. Tried the burger twice. Not the best in town and overcooked both times. Why 3 stars? It’s a fun place to hang out, they’re open late and they’re food and drinks are decent. A unique and young vibe for the area

A solid spot with reasonable prices, good service and a chill vibe. Stick to the blue moon on tap, house margaritas and medium rare cheeseburgers. Drink up and relax.

Stopped for a lazy lunch while visiting. Less expensive than most of the other locations along the Plaza area. Seat yourself, and get to know your waiter. Decent service and decent pace. The menu is small, think appetizers, hamburgers and sandwiches. Staff was attentive. The food was not that impressive, but my high-school teens say that fries were good. The cole slaw was interesting, didn’t take more than 2 bites. We mainly had burgers which were mediocre. The pork sliders were not good, just pulled pork with lots of sauce, that didn’t impress me. In total, one appetizer, 2 burgers, one wrap and the pork sliders with sodas, around $ 50…

Overall: great ambiance and good place for crowds. Food is only okay. A local recommended this place as somewhere with affordable food. She said locals hang out here. I agree with her assessment. Dishes are no more than $ 10, and this is a great place for groups to hang out. There’s lots of seating, and during the winter the outdoor area is covered and heated. If you want to grab a drink with friends, this is your spot. We were hungry when we came for lunch. The waiter said they’re known for their burgers. I ordered a Del Charro burger with green chile topping. Wasn’t anything special. I wish they put more green chile on. I also got the the green chile chowder. Basically a chicken corn chowder with some green chile pieces in it. I was in search of green chile when visiting New Mexico, so I left wanting more. If you want Mexican food, this isn’t necessary the place to come. If you don’t care about food and just want a chill place to hang out, then come here. Service is friendly and nice.
