I went to Arthur for years — he was such a kind gentleman, and always had something good to talk about.
Michelle is lovely, and a very talented stylist. I’m glad she’s continuing the tradition.
It’s a very special business — family run, with several generations behind it. It’s not Supercuts or whatever run-of-the-mill place has popped-up in its place. It’s a local business, done the old-fashioned way, which is the best.

Just called and they have changed thier hours and policies. No walk ins. Hours are now Tues — Sat. and close at 11 on Sat.
Did not get hair cut so my rating is only on based on convience, or lack there of.

Lucky today was a Saturday, because it’s the only day for drop ins. During the weekdays call in and hope for a cancellation or be ready to wait a bit for a spot. Michelle is a great barber and is worth getting in line for. The history speaks for itself, a truly family affair and a Santa Fe institution. I never got to meet Art, but after meeting his daughter I can tell he was a really good man and that cutting hair and treating customers well is in the genes.

Great haircut super friendly. Luckily she accommodated me as a walk in, however it should be known that her father (a staple in the Santa Fe community) recently passed away from cancer. She has a hard time keeping up with all the regular customers she has. I highly recommend coming here, not only does she do a great job but she offered a lot of great advice for places to eat and things to see. Just try and make an appointment if you can.

Clean, competent, not too expensive, and the barber is the nicest guy you’ll ever meet. This is the best place to get a haircut in Santa Fe.

Visiting Santa Fe from out of town for a few days but desperately needed a haircut. I found this place since it was just a short walk from my hotel. My hair is difficult to cut correctly but Michelle did an excellent job — one of the better haircuts that I’ve had in awhile.

This is a great barber shop! Walking into 3 generations of family owned business is a rarity this day in time, but you can find that here (not to mention a great, no frills, no attitude haircut!). Michelle quickly and expertly removed three years worth of curls, shaping it into a professional, clean cut appearance (or at least as clean cut as I get-)
All this for $ 14?!? I’ll certainly return–

Michelle gives a great cut — she listens, adds her 2c. and efficiently does what she needs to do. She’s been at that chair for over 20 years, next to her Dad. Call ahead — she’s often booked.
