I just love this company always so diligent with their work and they are so friendly. I had an issue with my radiant unit on thanksgiving and they where so nice to come out that same day to fix it. I highly recommend High Desert I support our local small business!

I am so glad I called High Desert Air Conditioning and Heating. Omar, the owner, and two of his tireless workers just replaced my decades-​old boiler, on a Saturday, in record time. We had been told a couple days ago our condo’s 1970s-​era Slant-​Fin boiler had several problems, one of which was a gas leak, so it had to be shut off for safety. Plus, there was an additional problem with our condo’s main gas line regulator, also likely from the same era! It, too, needed to be replaced.
Out of the four companies we had out to bid, Omar provided the most economical quote, plus he immediately leapt to complete the work on a Saturday so I would not be without heat during the frigid Santa Fe winter. Omar was courteous, listened to our needs (we have a tiny condo apartment which needed an economical solution) and promptly gave us the best deal for both the boiler replacement, pipe upgrades to accommodate the newer system, and that old gas line regulator outside.
Ironically, the large regional company I had out a few days ago took 2 hours to diagnose the boiler as officially dead and cost me $ 250 for that diagnosis; yet here it is two days later, no estimate has been received from them.
High Desert Air Conditioning and Heating is proactive, prompt, and highly competent. It really does pay to choose a local, family-​run business. You will not be disappointed in High Desert Air Conditioning and Heating.

This company was professional and reasonable priced. Omar was courteous and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them for a furnace replacement.

The customer service and quality of this company is terrible. Omar ran a condensation line from the AC on the roof to my bathroom. He did not tie the line into the drain system. He did however set the AC to 64 degrees when it was 94 outside and then left the job site without even telling the line was not connected.
This produced a lot of condensation which just ran out onto my bathroom floor and vanity. He never apologized or took any responsibility,
He also did a very poor job of installing our ERV leaving the control panel wired up with the wires exposed laying on the unit.
I would advise avoiding this firm at all costs.
