We purchased a silver alloy bowl and another dip bowl with the copper or Heritage finish, which was a mistake. The silver alloy holds up fine but the other has fared poorly. I have used it for various types of dips and the finish has worn off and is pretty ugly. After calling Nambe they asked if I had coated the bowl in olive oil before putting dip in it. I said no because neither their website nor their instruction booklet suggested I do so. They offered no resolution or refund for me so now I have a very expensive, ugly bowl. Stick with the silver alloy.

First time in a company store and I couldn’t walk out empty handed! Lots of sales and beautiful pieces to look at.
Sales staff was very friendly and full of suggestions on how to get the most use out of the items they sell.

While I adore the traditional Nambe bowls (we’ve given them as wedding gifts), their expansion into new areas … not so much.
My WHOLE family absolutely HATES (!) the dinnerware (was on sale … wonder why) we purchased from them a year ago.
At first glance, it looks beautiful, but it is incredibly POORLY DESIGNED. There is no thought given to BALANCE (utensils literally fall off the plate whenever the plate is moved).
It’s ridiculous. I can’t tell you how many times we’ve had to retrieve a utensil off the floor as I walked with my plate to the dinner table.
We’ve never had this experience before.
I would GLADLY return all six setting for ½ my money refunded.
And Nambe, please hire good, experienced designers who KNOW WHAT THE ARE DOING!
Dinnerware has to be FUNCTIONAL!

I would say each piece is functional art. You can display anything and every thing from this place. Yet because the main line is freezer and oven safe, it is highly functional to hold food, serve food, and wow your guests and family. Each piece is so lovingly crafted and beautiful in it’s own right, you can’t help but feel when you look or hold or use each piece that it adds beauty and art to your life. Expensive, but the quality and craftsmanship, artistry, and style of the pieces speak for themselves.

Nambé is modern, classic yet stylish chic. I’ve received two Nambé Metal Alloy as gifts, in a past life, Bread Tray and Kissing Salt and Pepper by Karim Rashid. Sadly, both were utilized twice for a dinner party in my former home entertaining our families.
Our famiies were complimenting our Nambé bread tray and salt and pepper which adorned our dinning table creating an elegant yet intimate ambience.
