NV Aveda Salon-Spa

I am from out of town visiting family and needed someone to color and cut my hair. My family recommended Jayme. I called and asked for her. They told me she is no longer there but wouldn’t tell me where she is. I did some investigating and found out she is at Shear Perfection Salon in the design center. She did an amazing job! I’m so glad I found her, especially for needing it last minute. But it was well worth the search. I highly recommend her!

I love Aveda & the staff there, very friendly and comfortable place to hang out for 3 hours while getting some highlights. I have always gone to LA to get my hair done but Jayme does such a great job that I’ve continued to go back over and over to see her! She’s great!
I’ve seen Veronica there as well and she’s fantastic as well.

I went to Juan had my hair colored and cut. He did a horrible job and was awfully rude. Would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you want a bad experience go see Juan.

New to town, looking for a good salon. Decided to go Aveda, since I’ve been using them in San Antonio Texas. I was soooo lucky! My stylist was Holly Tadych and she was excellent! Even my husband commented on my haircut.

I walked in and chatted with Juan who was amazing and over saw the amazing hair coloring that Jayme was creating. Super amazing people, very happy to support them! I’d go back if I lived in Santa Fe! I was a walk in and they took great care of me and my slightly high maintenance needs. Thank you Jayme you ROCK! And thank you Juan your grounded, confidence was perfect!

Jayme is the best! I had yet to find a great hairstylist in Santa Fe but she is it!!! I was so happy with my cut and style, I will definitely be returning. So happy to find an affordable but quality salon. You won’t be disappointed!

I moved here from Hawaii and tried a few places in town but never seemed to be able to get my old shine back in my hair. Whitney has been cutting my hair for a year and I wouldn’t dream of going elsewhere. She is innovative with color and willing to adjust based on my seasonal desires. My mother moved to Santa Fe several months ago and had been having trouble finding someone who would be willing to give her an extremely short cut. Whitney filled the bill on this one too. Now that I am relocating to Rio Rancho I would never consider not making the drive to go to this salon and have Whitney take care of my color. Truly, this is a one stop salon and worth the drive.

I had my first ever facial today at NV Aveda Salon and it was awesome. The customized facial by Veronica was so relaxing. Being my first time, I didn’t realize how much was included in my facial. I got a customized scent that I picked out. Yummy Bergamot. Then there is wonderful neck and shoulder massage, hand and feet treatments, and a scalp treatment with head massage. I was in heaven.
All of this was happening while she was cleaning and detoxifying my skin. My only question was when can I come back and do this again. I have had other services there too. I have been for cuts, color, touch-​ups, highlights and waxing. All were fine but the facial was above and beyond. It’s in line with high-​end spa experiences I’ve had at Ten Thousand Waves and Bally’s Spa.

I go to Aveda every 6 weeks for a cut and a color touch-​up with Amanda; she always does a wonderful job. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with everyone at the salon.

The first time I saw Holly and she cut my hair fine but she was rude and not very friendly. The second time I went, the younger girl with red hair cut my hair and did a horrible job.

This spa offers many other services: waxing, facials, massage, etc. But I just went in for haircut and color.
And it’s a beautiful job! This may be the best shade match ever put on me, and the cut is just beautiful. Special thanks to stylist Amanda, who did the work. She’s also a lovely personality, and made it a comfortable, fun visit.
The same address and phone number are listed here as Cactus Organic Lifestyle Salon, but it says NV Aveda on all the printed materials they gave me, including the appointment card. So I’m taking that as current and adding it as such.
I cannot get the website address to work, but am including it anyway as it is what’s on the card. Maybe the website’s under construction or something.
Like any Aveda salon, it’s a little pricey, which is the reason I’m giving four stars instead of five. Also, since I haven’t tried their other services, I don’t know for certain that those are as good as my cut and color are. But I really liked it there, and I’m very impressed with the results. I’ll go back.
