I am a New Yorker who has visited Santa Fe for 20 years. My last 4 visit i went to Passamentrie and I am always very happy with the wonderful cheerful service I receive for the people in this shop. My last visit was just recently as of August 2015, I purchased 2 of their wonderful dresses with gorgeous handmade belts to go with them. The belts can be worn with other outfits also. I just can’t wait to visit again and get a few more dresses, the only downside is they do not have a website to purchase from, otherwise i would shop all year long, well I a sure my husband is happy!

I was in Passamentrie while in Santa Fe visiting a friend in July and just loved the store. It is beautiful and chocked full of gorgeous ethnic merchandise. Christina and her people are lovely and it was a pleasure to shop there. I think that it’s one of the nicest and most beautifully merchandised stores that I’ve been in. I purchased a wonderful white long opened jacket-top with gorgeous Mexican embroidery. I love it. Can see this store in NYC or the Hamptons!!! A wonderful find.

I love this place. Having recently traveled to India and Nepal, I was thrilled to find a serious representation in a beautiful, tasteful little store right off the plaza. Christina the owner, travels throughout India and the orient to bring back treasures of Thai silk, Indian bedspreads and colorful blouses and dresses. The staff is very knowledgeable, patient and pleasant. Also, make sure to check out the black rayon basics on the rack by the storefront wall. You will love the the travel friendly quality.
