Big changes at Sweet Lily’s! Had been a regular at Sweet Lily’s since they opened and became a true and loyal fan. Melinda baked what I considered the very BEST pie crust in Santa Fe. It was a delightful place to meet friends. They serve Iconik coffee, which can’t be beat. After not going there for several weeks, I stopped in and a familiar employee was working at he time. All other faces were unfamiliar. The familiar employee informed me that Melinda had sold Sweet Lily’s and left the area but that the new owners had also bought Melinda’s recipes so everything should remain the same. I ordered a bowl of potato cheese soup and it was delicious. Two days later, I stopped in for a bite and could not resist the beautiful lemon meringue pie and eagerly took my first bite. Boy, was I DISAPPOINTED!!! The filling was fine. The crust was the WORST I’ve ever tasted. ANYWHERE. EVER. I have never encountered a pie crust that was soft and moist. One could press down on the crust with the flat part of fork tines and the crust would not break or crumble — instead it left fork tine marks like the ones that would be left in uncooked dough. It was TERRIBLE!!! The filling was fine so that’s all I ate. Now, my favorite part of a piece of pie is the crust so I was and am devastated. There is still Dulce’s on Cordova and it is very good. Sweet Lily’s original owner had formerly been a baker at Dulce’s so the products are quite similar. I don’t like the crowded environment nearly as much as the open, quiet environment of Sweet Lily’s. Also, they do not serve Iconik coffee, bit I can always go directly to Iconik for that. I am sad. I will not go back to Sweet Lily’s. Formerly a five star bakery.

Every time I have a salon appointment I stop by Sweet Lily’s. I love their sweet treats. So far I’ve tried the carrot cake cupcake and a gluten free vanilla raspberry muffin. Both were delicious. I also like the atmosphere. It’s clean, relaxing, and I enjoy the complimentary self serve water.

A really cute place with delicious sandwiches, baked goods and coffee. Perfect for after a trip to the Georgia O’Keefe Museum. I had the bacon, potato, green chile quiche. It was so tasty and the crust was perfect. The new owners are super friendly too.

We agree. Linda took a stroll from our Villa de Santa Fe abode and happened on this place for our first breakfast in town. Just lovely quaint and sweet people. Great baked goods and quiche. Five star.

Good coffee. Had a cupcake, a little dry but the«frosting“was a nice consistency, could use more lemon pop, raspberry on top. Flourless chocolate cake just devine.

Tucked away from the bustle of the Plaza shops, is this quiet, little gem — serving good coffee and a variety of sandwiches, quiches and jaw dropping cookies and pies. I had their panini style Tuscan sandwich: savory and satisfying. Their Key Lime Pie, freshly made that day by owner Melinda(a legend of a pie maker in progress) was sinfully tasty. Also, the Ginger-Molasses Cookies beckon and tease… their taste met with their good look. !The ambiance of the Café is Bauhaus meets Alice in Wonderland … a fun trip for the weary and hungry!

Cute little spot that is right around the corner from the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum and probably gets a lot of business from there. We had two coffees that were expertly and quickly prepared, sharing a delicious lemon cranberry cookie. Nice spot to catch your breath and get a bite!

This place is amazing. Had lunch here(Tuscany sandwich), and the best pastries around. Right next to the Georgia O’Keefe Museum too so fantastic for a quick bite!

Awesome little café and bakery just off the plaza! All our sandwiches we had were terrific and the tomato basil soup the best. Didn’t have room for dessert but have to take a box of several because they all look so good. Definitely will return.

Was visiting here and I decided to stop here to get the blueberry muffin my wife was hungry for. She was pleased with it, and I enjoyed the cheese Danish. The lady was very helpful and sweet.

We were in Santa Fe for our 50th wedding anniversary and wanted to have a nice cake for our family. We called ahead and ordered, specified the date and time we needed it and when we arrived, it was ready. That evening we had a delicious cake and everyone thought it was great. The people are very friendly and the location is not hard to find. If you are going to Santa Fe, this is the bakery you want to visit.

My stepmom is a lawyer at the law firm right next to the bakery and it is her entire workplaces favorite place to go for pastries. I got a stuffed ham and cheese croissant for breakfast that was delicious and the coffee/esspresso is wonderful, very friendly staff as well

I love bakeries, but don’t visit often since I’ve been cutting out the sugar and white flour. Instead, I make the decision to eat treatfood based on whether the food is special. If the baked goods are ho-hum, or I know the bakery uses mixes, they are not on my radar. That’s why I am so happy to share this new place in Santa Fe, where everything is cooked from scratch and yes, those cookies I ate are definitely worth a splurge. The owner has baked for many fine restaurants in SF and decided to open her own place which is neat, tidy, airy and comfortable with cases full of delectable baked goods, savory and sweet. I saw quiche, muffins, gluten free goodies, chocolate cake, a foccaccia sandwich and pie. Everything looked good, but we chose cookies. There are espresso drinks and excellent iced tea. I bought Mr. Picky a compost cookie containing butterscotch chips, chocolate, oatmeal, coconut and pretzels. Sweet, salty and crunchy all in one bite. Yum. As he was tasting the cookie and finding it to his liking, Mr. Picky wanted to know what they were called and even after finding it was called a compost cookie, he said, «Let’s take home 6 of those!» I added a salted chocolate chip cookie, peanut butter cookie and an oatmeal cranberry(?) to round out the order, all of which were excellent. Mr. P hid his cookies so I wouldn’t steal them.
