X-Ray Associates

This facility has old, out-​dated, claustrophobic MRI equipment which dates back to the 90’s! There have been many advances in MRI imaging since the equipment this facility uses were made. I’m a medical practitioner and I DO know an old MRI machine from a new one! BE smart, go elsewhere where the technology is at least from THIS century!

I have been a patient at X-​Ray Associates of Santa Fe for about five years off and on, at first getting standard annual mammograms and eventually many more diagnostic tests. I’ve always been treated respectfully and compassionately by medical and nonclinical staff. In particular, Dr. Alexander LaRusso, Rachel and Christine in ultrasound, and Sandy in mammography have been very kind and helpful. Tutti Gilbert, R.N., was incredibly compassionate on the day I got some bad news, and she followed my case as an advocate, helping me to get the additional care I needed, and making many phone calls on my behalf. I will never forget her generosity. Prior to getting my radiological care at X-​Ray Associates, I used the other major provider in Santa Fe, and I never received the quality of care I feel I get at X-​Ray Associates. I highly recommend X-​Ray Associates.
