The owner is really nice and they have very prompt delivery. They have the best sandwiches I always order the Italian sub and 1 really of there great side salads. They actually have pesto pizza and sicilian Pizza by the slice which is hard to find and really yummy.

Great customer service! Had the meatball sandwich it was good. Husband had gyros he like it too. We wanted something new to get away from our old eating ways. You need to try it. The owner is sweet! Feels like home here! You can’t find that any where anymore. Try it!

Great service! You never know with a place in a strip mall but the staff was very very friendly and attentive and the food was wonderful! We had the spaghetti and meatballs, butternut squash ravioli and beef ravioli. The garlic bread was awesome and we loved the sauce on the ravioli and even got a second butternut squash ravioli to eat the next day. Loved it. Tiramisu was pretty good too. Enjoy!

Went in for a thin crust pizza it was amazing. Had to find a good thin crust pizza around here. Keep up the quality product. I have to add my wife is from back east and agrees this is the closest thing to it.

Wonderful little family run restaurant… thank you Unilocal reviewers. Enjoyed wonderful gluten-​free pizza, a little wine and a huge Greek salad (definitely enough for two). Service was excellent and very friendly.

Ordered out from here and decided to order the Luigi and Michella calzone and added pepperoni .they were amazing the bread was fresh and soft ingredients tasted fresh and the service was very good. I haven’t been this satisfied with a calzone ever ! The aroma of the restaurant reminded of when I would walk into trattorias in Italy. I can’t wait to go back and explore more meals on the menu.

Great food. Awesome menu to choose from. We often order delivery for work. Always on time, fresh, hot and plentiful. Did we mention those out of this world Cannoli’s? Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. You’ll be glad you did!

The food here is delicious. We have tried the pizza, the calzones, the pasta, and the desserts. We have yet to try their sandwiches and salads. I had never ordered a pasta dish with red sauce at any Italian restaurant because I figured if I wanted that I would just make it at home myself. I decided to try the red sauce here and now that is my go to… anything with red sauce! It’s that good.

SOO yummy! The special was chicken Parmesan it was so good everything was perfect the sauce noodles chicken mm! Also try the cannoli! Can’t wait to go back.

Stopped here for lunch on our road trip through Cali. Food was delicious! I had the handmade spinach ravioli and it was the best ravioli I have ever had. My husband got a (huge!) slice of supreme pizza and he liked it a lot. We also got the garlic cheese sticks –they were ok. The marinara sauce is delicious! Four stars because the cashier girl was not very knowledgeable of menu items and seemed like she would rather be anywhere else. Also, my husband was upset to see the chicken parm is not listed on regular every day menu.

This place is always busy and that is a tell-​tale sign that it’s pretty great!
Their service is amazing, every single time. That is the reason we choose this place over any other when coming to the area. You’ll always have someone helping you with a smile and patience!
Food? Delicious! The servings are extremely generous as well. Their cold pesto pasta is, most of the time, really flavorful. Sometimes the pasta lacks :/​
I always order combo #1; cheese slice (deep dish), side salad of your choice (I always get that pesto pasta), and a drink. All of that for only $ 8! The pizza slice is huge and is more like 2 slices. They give you a crazy amount of salad, the husband always eats half of it!
The thick pizza was soft on our very first visit and hasn’t been as good as that on subsequent visits. Even though it’s good in flavor and generous in cheese, the bread is always dry and crunchy. That’s a bit of a disappointment and the reason I had to deduct a star. Their calzones, which my husband sometimes gets, is incredible. It’s the size of a football and stuffed to the gills with awesomeness!
Come here when you want affordable, delicious food and excellent service!

Delicious! Clean & and super good piccata on the weekends :) the owners & employees are kinda loud, like they are at home, but it’s a no nonsense kinda place. I enjoy it every time I go.

It’s no secret that Cugini’s has incredible food and friendly service for lunch or dinner; but if you need to feed a crowd, Louise and her staff go above and beyond to fill bellies and warm hearts. She fed our hungry football team of 50, rearranging her restaurant to accommodate the hungry young men. She takes great pride in her meals, and it shows. The pene was not-​over cooked, the chicken was so tender, and the marinara reminded me of Grandma’s. She even plated our salad into bowls and topped it off with fluffy, buttery rolls! Louise worked with our budget and ensured every detail of our lunch was perfect. Her staff also emulates her work ethic, anticipating our needs and orchestrating a delicious meal. It’s clear that Cugini’s is more than just an Italian spot!

This lady is the rudest lady restaurant owner in town (in my opinion). And you can tell who the owner is if you see her.
I used to come here a lot (especially when she was gone. Probably at her other out of business restaurant in San Luis Obispo) but she is just so rude.
Today is the final day I’m ever coming back. I can’t stand this lady.
So I waked into Cugini’s today and there was very limited pizza displayed. I didn’t ask for help or even spoke to anyone at all. I was only looking to see which pizza I might want to pick.
So, the owner asked ‘What do you want?” (RUDELY), and I asked «Are these the only pizza you have out to warm up?» and she responded «Yes, Why! The cooks have to make more and will be a long time to bake» and I answered back «Well I only wanted pepperoni and olives. I don’t want the anything else on the pizza.»
There was one pizza with pepperoni, olives, and mushroom but I didn’t want to eat mushroom on my pizza. She had the nerve to say «mushrooms are actually good for you if you didn’t know!» So what she did was grabbed a cheese and basil pizza and just put pepperoni and olives on it. Even though I didn’t want basil, I just got it so it doesn’t cause such a big problem.
The food is very delicious here. It’s different compared to the other pizza places in Santa Maria, Ca.
She is stressed and is so hungry to not let a customer walk away. She brieves you saying everything there is made by scratch not like those other pizza restaurants made with processed food and acidic products.
But that doesn’t mean she can talk to anyone any way she wants. So I just stayed quiet and continue to pay the cashier.
I ordered the number #2 which is «Any pizza, one salad, and drink» which was $ 8.75. When cashier told me what I owed, which was $ 9.47, I just looked up at the menu board to make sure that’s the meal I ordered. This lady being all sneaky from the back told me in front of other customers «It’s my tax». I could afford it with no problem, I didn’t say anything, but its like so rude of her to even say anything.
I used to come here a lot on good times and bad times. This is the final time I’ll ever come back. I’d rather eat Papa John’s 2 stores down from Cugini’s restaurant.

Dramatic difference from my first visit. The cashier was rude and looked like she really didn’t even want to be there. I was uncomfortable when she took my order and I honestly considered taking my business elsewhere.
«I can’t sell you a kids spaghetti.» God forbid someone over the age of 12 orders off the kids menu; and who said it was for me? I’m ordering To-​Go for myself and my niece. Even if I was ordering it for myself, you could’ve said it more pleasantly. Even after stating it wasn’t for myself she continued to give me an unpleasant look.
I’m a waitress and I’ve been in the customer service industry for 3 years and I have never treated a guest that way; after meeting the cashier, glad I haven’t. The service I received from the young lady was inadequate and it’s very unlikely I’ll come visit again.
On a brighter note, the young lady who brought me my takeout was a breathe of fresh air. Kudos to her! Because the cashier definitely put a damper on my mood. Sorry Cuginis! Bad customer service is a huge pet peeve of mine and as a result, I will not be recommending this restaurant to my friends or anyone else.

Great service and food.
We tried the calzone and an Isabella pizza, along with a slice of the Sicilian style cheese pizza. Everything was flavorful and the crust was cooked to perfection!

Loved the food and hospitality. Perfect end to a long drive on PCH. Ordered something off menu and was very impressed. Would recommend this place. 5 stars.
Defenitely try the cheese tortileni.

Really awesome food! Great service!!! The owner makes everything fresh. The prices are economical and the quality is outstanding. I highly recommend trying this restaurant.
My favorite items that they make is their chocolate brownies, salads, sub sandwiches, meatball sandwich, and their individual thick crust pizza.
