The sandwich was alright. Not significantly better than Subway and much more extensive. Like they’re as expensive. Definitely not worth $ 13 for lunch including tip, chips, and a drink. For less money and much much better food try Papa Napolis on the east end of the Target shopping center at betteravia and miller.

This is one of the finest sub sandwich shops ever! The cheesesteaks are great but we usually end up getting the Classic. Do yourself a favor and get it Mike’s Way!

There is little to recommend here beyond a friendly staff. The food itself is too expensive to consist of filler like shredded lettuce(which, along with onions and tomatoes, very nearly comprises the entirety of the vegetable offerings) as it does, and the last time I went that song«I Would Walk 500 Miles!» was playing on a loop, which is annoying enough as it is what with the jarringly enthusiastic«DAH-DAH-DAHDAH!» chorus, let alone the fact that the thickly accented singers themselves OBVIOUSLY hail from some British backwater where things are measured using the metric system. But I guess«I Would Walk Roughly 805 Kilometers» doesn’t have the same cachet. I dunno. Just call something American or Jersey, then put it in a strip mall or play it on Friends and watch people line up, I suppose. «Hey. Yo. My BMI is higher than my IQ. Let’s go get a sammich!»

My review is more based towards the customer service verses the food. The sandwich was good, fresh made the way they do it all Jersey Mikes, so no complaints there. The employees were another story. They all seemed very confused and the ordering experience was definitely awkward. They weren’t rude but they all just kind of stared quietly at me and my family and weren’t very interactive. What really got me was when the seemingly 4 o’clock shift ended and two of female employees grabbed their things to leave and on the way out stopped to grab about 10 each of the cookies they sell at the register and the girl with a tattoo on her wrist/arm grabbed 3 bags of chips and filled up a soda to go. The other girl with glasses put the cookies in her bag and proceeded to grab 3 more… To me as a customer this seems like stealing and definitely not normal.

2 stars ONLY because the sandwich was good, a #13 mikes way. As for the rest of the experience NO stars… 2 people ahead of me and I waited over 15 minutes in line. The guy making the sandwiches was soooo slow, he only had 3 sandwiches to put lettuce/tomato on, omg! No sense saying anything about it, the guy at the register just stared blankly like he didn’t understand english. This location is not worth returning to but I do like their food and will continue to check out other locations.

I’m giving jersey mikes a 2 star because I have been here before and they are extremely nice and I enjoy their sandwiches. BUTIFYOUHAVEALLERGIESTHEYDONOTCAREHERE! I told the associate about my allergies and they looked at me like I was crazy! I asked if they had any bread products without gluten and the man looked at me and said no and didn’t offer anything else on the menu. Probably will not be coming back because they don’t like to serve people with allergies

The sandwiches are very good, although a bit pricey. Also, if you get it Mike’s Way, which is best, be sure you’re eating it soon cause it will make the bottom bun VERY soggy. My biggest complaint really is that when there are a ton of people in line, they have to stop and make a call in order before they help anyone. That’s fine that they do that, but isn’t some where else they could make those sandwiches so the people in line aren’t there waiting for 10 minutes while they’re making 5 giant sandwiches for someone that called it in? Or perhaps I should just start calling in and make everyone in line wait for me… Service is always nice and they always do their best to go quickly, but when you’re cutting the meat individually for each sandwich be prepared for a bit of a wait around lunchtime.

These people have a great formula for tasty sandwiches. I’ve gotten the classic Italian sub, the cheesesteak, and the club sub. Always great. They don’t offer steak fries, which I’m used to eating w/my cheesesteak(because if you’re gonna eat one of those, you might as well go all in) and that’s a little disappointing. Also, their cheesesteak was a little short on the meat, but it was made the right way and had the right taste. If you want a really excellent sub, go to Papa Napoli’s(just down the street), but if you want a quick sammy while shopping at Home Depot, this is the place. They’re really good. Don’t even ask me to ever write a review about their competitor chain(you know who I mean) — I won’t even go into one of those wretched places.

My all-time favorite sandwich shop. Everything is freshly made and delicious. We visit weekly, usually on «double point Thursday». And today is… well…THURSDAY! See you soon!

Love this restaurant! It is expensive but that is because it is fresh. Anyways when you get the shore points it makes up for it because you get free sandwiches. The staff is really great, i come here so much the staff recognizes me so it saves me time because I dont need to tell them my order

Great sandwiches, fresh bread, and fresh ingredients. The parking is not the greatest at this location. My favorite sub is the #13 The Original Italian grilled, Mike’s Way with a Mexican twist, add jalapeños. The service has been great and the staff has been friendly.

Overall impression: Just one notch above Subway, and you pay for that notch. We ordered a hot sandwich and a cold sandwich(reuben and italian). See pics. For the reuben, the sandwich was tasty, but was very light on the meat for a reuben. For the price that we paid, I would expect more meat. For the Italian, it just didn’t work for me. The bread was a little too hard and did not soak in the dressing as it should. Also, the amount of meat again was very skimpy. I ate half and waited until later to eat the other half. It tasted like a totally different and much tastier sandwich because the bread finally soaked in the goodness and the sandwich became a cohesive whole. The veggies are ultra-fresh, the chili sauce is awesome, the bread is baked fresh, and the workers were helpful, as this was our first time eating at Jersey Mike’s. Nice gimmick on freshly slicing meats/cheeses. Nice décor. Clean bathrooms. They also do a military discount, so that was appreciated(see pic). Ultimately, Jersey Mike’s is pretty decent but overpriced due to the portion control on the meat. In terms of the italian sub choice in Santa Maria, Papa Napolis wins with their generous portion of meat at a comparable price. In terms of the«reuben», it was not the authentic reuben that one would think of, albeit tasty. I demand that the meat be piled high as it should be with this iconic mainstay. Overall, not too motivated for a repeat visit. Way too much good local food around here to miss out on.

Not a huge fan of the chains, but Jersey Mike’s is pretty darn good! The locale: PROS: Friendly, well trained staff; clean; good location for Santa Maria CONS: Seating is limited and you feel like you’re elbow-to-elbow with the folks waiting in line The chow: PROS: fresh bread(fresh, not«Subway fresh» with the hard ends and crumblies); get it «Mike’s Way» for a juicy, not sloppy, sammie; ingredient stand always policed by the employees right after they make a sammie, so that you don’t fear getting tuna mixed in w/your turkey; great iced tea; well stocked chip assortment CONS: a little less lettuce and a little more meat, please!
