KFC

The servers visited while customers waited and tables were dirty. Did not give us enough forks or butter. We are locals and will not return

KFC can’t be that bad. I ignored the reviews and went anyways. This sucks… I am on the toilet as I write this. My stomach is cramping so bad.

No star please! We were standing on the side, not ordering yet since we were still undecided on what meal to buy. The cashier asked us what we want but we said to give us sometime but still she kept on asking. When we ordered, my husband paid by debit card and the cashier asked for his ID. Not even explaining why. We use our debit card everytime and this is the first time we were asked for ID. Is it because we were just wearing shorts and shirt, asian with a different accent? Very bad customer service, I can feel discrimation in her tone of voice and action. I feel awful! Felt so uncomfortable to eat our orders and wanted to go! I had no choice since we were hungry. Even if I love KFC, I’M DEFINITELY NOT GOING TO THIS BRANCH ANYMORE! Can the management please teach the staff some good customer service.

Yuck! Of all the KFC I’ve ever had this was by far the worst. I’d had one prior disappointing order from the Santa Maria KFC, but it was 2 – 3 years ago, and I was hopeful I was a fluke. It wasn’t. They were due to close within the hour and got the orders completely screwed up. Apparently, they were out of certain parts and just gave a bit of this and that instead, plus one meal was missing a side. The chicken breast and wings were greasy and the meat was tough. I expect KFC to fall off the bone, but this not only didn’t fall, it hung on for dear life. My dogs weren’t even impressed. Not tasty at all and the biscuits were falling apart. Huge waste of money. I would have taken it back but we don’t live near this store, also it was pretty picked over by hungry people looking for little bits they could eat. Horrible meal. Despite bad reviews, we’ve never had a bad meal from the KFC in Lompoc. If I ever get over how disgusting this food was, and want to try KFC again, I’ll drive over there. Don’t waste your money or time on this one.

Messed my whole order up. They stop making food an hour before they close and basically sell the last of their sh1t off. Terrible management. Zero stars.

This place is a joke. I usually try to find the best in every place I visit before I blast my opinion but this place is so bad it needs to be said.
Poor neglectful owners equals poor management equals poor employees. That’s your problem here… it all starts from the top. Fix the top problem and everything else falls into place.
If a location had bad customer service then I can just count that out on my list but this goes beyond this.
Confusing menu leads to more questions and even more pissed off cashiers who probably answer the same thing over and over which explains their disgust in their job. Don’t even dare asking what the difference of their individual meals and classic meals include.
The food was luke warm and I can bet it dropped way below the safe holding temperature before it reached my plate.
And to top it all off I got to watch the manager play party cake with the staff and talk about their personal hygiene while I enjoyed my disgusting meal.
Its obvious this owner does not care because this has been an ongoing complaint that still continues today. Nothing but a bunch of part time high school aged kids who could care less about their job or your health and safety.

Received rude and rushed customer service,
My order was cold plus I never got the rest of my order, they told me my potato wedges would be ready in a few. I was there for at least an hour and no wedges. This KFC stole money from me. And when you mention that the chicken is cold they get attitude and say that’s the way it’s supposed to taste, every other kfc serves hot chicken this one clearly doesn’t I’ve been here 4 times cause it’s the only one in the area Iive at, every single time I come here I receive terrible service and cold chicken. Also after asking if I could get my chicken at least warmed up or replaced they said no and then were watching us while speaking Spanish, little do they know I understand Spanish and yes I’m white and so is my husband but what does that have to do with giving customers good service and quality food. Undercover boss definatley needs to come to this location ! Definitely mentioning my experience to corporate

Staff seems to hate their jobs. I come here regularly for lunch because it’s so close to work, and I never see them smile, or show any enthusiasm. They aren’t rude… but they certainly aren’t friendly. Food is as good as fast food can be. My order is never wrong. Maybe the employees need a little vacation to help them cheer up? (:

Can’t say anything good about this place. Service was super slow employees were more concerned about closing than serving. Food was terrible I will never return

The staff was very joyful and happy to serve quickly. Most wonderful people working there I will return to share the sweet cornbread gospel of glorious chicken.

My father was on this KFC kick after we got in a debate over Popeyes vs KFC. Being the Popeyes fan that I am, I gave my Dad and KFC a chance to prove me wrong. Horrible mistake and waste of a 20 minute drive. The manager was a bitch, the food was barely warm, chicken batter was soggy, and yes my biscuits were also undercooked. Seems like their equipment either needs to be maintained or replaced. I don’t know what it is about KFC, but they always suck. This one was by far the worst fast food I have every ate. Hence why I didn’t take more than one bite of every item I had. My father is very eager to try Popeyes now, but the closest one is in Taft. Do yourself, your wallet, and your toilet a favor and avoid this one.

Its an average KFC. I wouldn’t say it were any better or any worse than any of the other ones I’ve been to. If I need a 2 piece, I would go again.

Unfortunately I am forced to agree with the 1-​star reviews. By far the worst KFC I have ever had! Chicken was cold and possibly undercooked. The breading did not taste right either, leading me to seriously question the other ingredients…
I ordered a 3-​piece meal, the chicken was aweful. I somehow ended up with two biscuits, one had a dark (possibly mold?) blemish on it, the other was runny in the middle, as if undercooked or … God knows what.
The coleslaw and mashed potatoes were the typical mass produced flavor, as I was hoping the chicken would also be.
The service was horrible, no one was friendly and they were incredibly slow. I will not be back!

Terribleness. I just ate a raw biscuit, definitely not cool. I don’t review chains unless they stand out — this one does… badly.

Can there be less then star?. Awful!
Rude manager, chicken was room temp, no pot pies after we ordered them and paid we were told it would be 20 wait. It was the worst experience at fast food. They didn’t offer us anything and a few of the other girls working were embarrassed by the managers rudeness!

Does anyone have the number for the health department in Santa Maria?
I personally don’t expect much out of a fast food place but this one takes the cake.
I was driving up to NorCal and decided KFC sounded good for a snack while on the road. I arrived about 7:45pm (over a hour before they closed) and they had already taken all the chicken out of the warmers and were starting to dismantle everything. All this with people still ordering and about 10 people eating in the dining portion of the restaurant.
I ordered… even though the girl was more worried about talking to her friend behind her than taking my order. The food was decent, not piping hot but not the worst I have ever had.
Here’s what made me sick…
A little after 8pm they started cleaning… they insisted on putting the chairs up on the half of the tables that no one was using (mind you its still a hour till they close) and started spraying the tables and chairs down with some horrible solution that smelled like a combo of cleaner and bleach. After a few minutes the whole place smelled of the stuff and I couldn’t stand to be in there anymore.
I went to was my hands in the bathroom and they had sprayed that same cleaner crap in the bathroom all over the toilet, mirror and even the sink. Mind you the bathroom was filthy with trash everywhere. You think if they wanted to start cleaning they could have started by cleaning up the trash.
I was lucky I didn’t get sick from the whole experience. There is no way I would ever go back to this establishment.
