Taco Roco Express

Went here for taco Tuesday. Excited to be back in California for Mexican food but this was pretty unimpressive. It’s like shredded meat with left over lettuce. What the heck…

Mediocre food and they messed up my drive through order. Had to go back in and wait in line for missed item.

Food tasted very bland. We ordered al pastor tacos and they were tasteless and extremely dry. No doubt the meat was old. We didn’t expect much, but we also didn’t expect to eat old food either.

If you’re looking for authentic Mexican cuisine, keep driving but if you’re looking for a quick take on Mexican flavors, Taco Roco is your spot. Most of their lunch/​dinner menu is mediocre but their breakfast, while again not heavy on Mexican tradition, is delicious and conveniently served all day. 99 cent Taco Tuesday is a good deal but there are things to watch out for. While they are advertised for 99 cents on the paper they tape on the menu they must not all be 99 cents because we ordered 19 tacos, yup 19, but our total was $ 26 and the Carnitas tacos were chintzy but at 99 cents I suppose we got what we paid for.

Taco Tuesday is joke. Leftover food sold cheap. Rather eat at burger king across the street.

We love breakfast here. Affordable, good tasting and nice portions. Not super authentic Mexican but salsa is great and love taco Tuesdays!

This WAS our favorite breakfast restaurant UNTIL TODAY when I opened my to-​go plate and in the beans (as if asleep and slightly covered with a blanket of cheese was a fricken COCKROACH). Drove right back and showed it to the staff and was further disgusted when the cook «chuckled». Took a video of it and plan on showing it to the manager or owner. Also will put it on you tube as well as facebook. These people had to know they have roaches and should have fumigated or at the very least covered their food to keep them out. At the very very least, inspect the food as it goes out to the customer. Grossed out. Will NEVER eat there again.

We came for lunch and was glad to see that they have a drive thru. We were going to order to-​go so drive thru made it more convenient.
We ordered the 3 pack chicken crispy tacos and carnitas super nachos. I’m more of a soft taco kind of person but these tacos were delicious! Perfect amount of crunch and every bite had chicken! The toppings and salsa didn’t over power the flavor of the meat. The nachos on the other hand had mostly soggy chips. We live less than 5 mins away and I don’t think the chips should have been soggy that quick. The cheese was runny but the carnitas was good. I wish we had just ordered all tacos but we wanted variety.
Next time I return I’ll definitely be ordering the crispy tacos again!

Ok so I can’t vouch for really anything at this restaurant other than the NACHOS!!! Super delicious!!!
If your on a diet… push it aside for a day and try the nachos!!!

Good prices and friendly customer service. The restaurant is very clean inside, but no frills. They have several tasty sounding vegetarian options listed. I had the breaded fish tacos plate with rice and beans; it was terrific. Each taco contained a good sized cod filet that was perfectly crispy and they were topped with fresh crunch cabbage, tomatoes, onions and fresh cilantro with a creamy slightly spicy (cilantro?) sauce. So much flavor– but I added a little Tapatio and jalapeños from the salsa bar anyway. This place delivers. I’ll be back!

I was not expecting a lot from this low priced Mexican taco bar. I got even less. The fish tasted like it was a couple days past its prime. I went with a friend and when we got our orders we were given one small bowl of bean dip and one small bowl of chips if we would’ve got in line and purchased are items separately which we could’ve we would’ve gotten two bowls of dip and two bowls of chips. as matter fact they charge extra on the chicken fresca salad for onions. And you have to search for the chicken with a magnifying glass. Bottom line, I will never eat here or any taco Rocco again. Alert 2 miles after we left the restaurant my friend got stomach cramps severely we had to pull off so she could use a restroom somewhere somethings wrong with their salsa bar which that gave her severe cramps. The Health department needs to look at that place

Not the most authentic Mexican food you will ever eat but it sure is good! You can’t beat the taco Tuesday deal. They really have perfected those crispy tacos. Nachos are really good too. The drive-​thru is super convenient when you are in a rush!

Can’t beat the .99 taco Tuesday! They have excellent horchata! This place packs out at lunch and dinner!!!

Back again, and again. Had the grilled fish tacos this time and it was just as amazing as the #9 I had with 3 chicken tacos! Quality food and cheap!

Three cheers for 1 $ taco tuesdays! I have had quite a few dishes here and they have all been very good. My favorite is the asada nachos, bring a friend they are huge.
