Advanced Landau Tops

I had Landau re-​do my 2000 Boxster leather seats. I shopped around and was told some complete BS by the guy who does upholstery out of the back of the used car dealership on Lincoln BL near Rose — and saw some pretty shabby work at one other shop. I even looked at some used seats from LA Dismantler Porsche parts — I sourced them frequently for other items — but used seats in good shape were also costly and while better than mine, looked: well: used.
Landau’s work exceeded my expectations. the OEM factory replacement leather kit was custom installed — along with a new vinyl rear window — which involved removing and replacing the whole convertible top — I was a little nervous given the whole job was around 2k — But WOW when it was done it was like a brand new car!
They even repaired foam chunks missing from the seat wings too, the seat heaters worked fine afterwards, it was really A+ work.
He even stuck with his original bid even though the factory leather kit from Porsche had gone up in price.
I love cars and I love treating my things well, pampering them. I did eventually sell that car and I was able to get my asking price over blue book and over what I had paid for it — and I drove it for a few years — well worth it.
