Austin gave a thoughtful reading that was direct and straight to the point with little embellishment or hyperbole. Most what he told me are ongoing themes in recent readings so I believe he is the real thing and everything I heard so far appears to be spot on. Of course time will tell but overall I found his reading to be reassuring and I left feeling calmer then when I arrived. I appreciate that his reading was affordable priced as I just needed a little perk me up and our half hour fit the bill. Austin is a gentle and peaceful spirit, I will be back!

I don’t recall ever receiving a reading before mainly because I was always afraid of things of this nature but my niece encouraged and convinced me for fun’s sake so I did. Initially, I didn’t know what the protocols were. Do I ask questions? Do I wait for him to ask me questions? Does he have to do some ritual first? Was I going to have to stand on one leg, bark like a wolf and turn around three times chanting something? Who knows? But Austin put me at ease immediately and we just talked like old caring friends you go to when you need advice or help with situations in life. He was extremely insightful so I felt he had a natural perceptive instinct or gift to read and help me. I felt he was reading my mind throughout our time together and he validated and confirmed decisions I was teetering with providing me with much more confidence in important timely decisions I needed to make without telling him what was going on. He just knew. If you want a reading from someone who truly cares, Austin is empathetic and will instinctively guide you on the right path. Thank you Austin for your benevolent and caring guidance!

Austin gave me a really great reading. A lot of his descriptions were really spot on, and he seemed really passionate about giving me an accurate prediction. I’ve never been «read» before and I was a little skeptical but there were so many things he couldn’t have just guessed, my middle name starts with an X (super obscure right?) and he asked if I had an X in my name. Im a bit confused w the reviews. First off I would give Austin 4 star for Professionalism. He seems to be a cool and nice guy. But my reading was so off and weird. Ive had quite a few readings before and my Tarot reading w Austin was the most strange and inaccurate one. I was contemplating about leaving a review because he was kind enough to not let me pay for an odd reading. But i feel i should share my experience because it was the complete opposite of what the reviews here say. Im hoping that Austin was just having an off or bad day thats why my reading was horrible compare to others. And i wanted to leave a review to give others heads up that it might be a hit or miss w this one.
My reading started out w him lighting an incense, which is understandable. Then he went inside the house and came back w a guitar and started playing for a few minutes. But im open minded and didnt mind it. The reading however was so vague, general and something you can pretty much say to anyone. No details or anything specific to me or my situation. And Austin assumed that i was in a relationship w a girl because he thought the name i gave him sounded like a girl’s name. The whole thing was completely off and strange and i was willing to pay him regardless but he was fair enough to not make me pay for it.
I left confused and even thought i was being punked because it was so strange. Like I said Im glad others had helpful readings w him but my experience was the complete opposite.

What a spectacular and thought provoking reading by Austin. I absolutely enjoyed the session and the individual who provided a deep reading. I read all the Unilocal reviews and reached out to him seeking answers.
Austin is very clairvoyant and truly connects and «sees.» I give him 5 stars and absolute recommend him with a capital R. You will not be disappointed!

Austin read tarot cards at my daughter’s bat mitzvah party. He was amazing and fun (I requested no negative readings). Both adults and kids loved having their cards read and especially when accurate. So many of our guests wanted his number so they could see Austin privately for a longer reading. He was the best vendor we had there and made our party a memorable one.

Austin is definitely blessed with a gift. I’ve had spiritual consults with him a number of times and his readings are always accurate. The insight I gain from him has helped me navigate through some difficult times. He exudes really positive energy and I feel like my spirit’s recharged whenever I have the chance to meet with him. He is compassionate and has a sense of humor that is comforting. A very good, kind soul.

Austin is more than an astrologer, tarot card reader, and numerologist; he’s an intuitive with a good connection to spirit. He takes the information in front of him and goes deeper, making connections, offering real suggestions, and doing it all with great sensitivity. I’ve been to many like him over the years, and he is clearly among the very best.
He had a unique approach that I really appreciated. He’s a musician, too, so he began by playing the guitar, which set the tone and the mood. He also wove everything together in a conversational way that helped me connect to what he had to say. He was friendly, down to earth, and approachable.
I’m surprised by the two negative reviews I’ve read on this Unilocal page. Neither described Austin in the least bit.

So Great! I was referred to Austin through a good friend of mine and I have 2 readings with him over the past couple months. He was so great, I had set up readings at a private event for my friends. Each reading was different, accurate and enlightening! And believe me this was a tough crowd! I truly enjoyed my readings with Austin. He has a special gift and is a lovely person in general. I met him on Oct 27^th I was so sad and unsure of my streak of bad luck in health finances and relationship, but Austin was awesome he had already done my chart when we met at a coffee shop he was so accurate, he helped me chill and showed me that I can take charge and change the aura around me from negative to positive energy, and showed me how I can get back in touch with my spirituality and get in tune with the universe around me, thanks Man, you rock.

As a reader and someone who has seen many different readers in the past, I’d like to note a few differences with the reading I got from Austin:
He will be blunt with what comes through him. Most readers sugarcoat things and give you false hope on issues that do not really serve the highest good. He picked up on my health issues and I agreed with a lot of what he had to say. I needed a detox and he recommended fasting, which made sense since I had been in a toxic relationship for about a year. He also gave me some dating advice which I didn’t entirely resonate with, but for the most part it was good. He said I would meet someone in 8 months. It’s nothing personal, but based on previous readings I don’t think its possible to be 100% correct on these sorts of predictions (I will update my review if it happens though!) He also told me I needed to wear more pink and less black. I started doing that and I’ve been feeling pretty good.
I would recommend approaching everything he says (not just Austin, but with any reader) with a discerning ear. Take into account what they have to say, but if something doesn’t seen right, meditate on it and follow your intuition over anyone else’s. Overall though the reading was insightful and had helped me improve upon my current condition at the time.

Austin is a fake! He is a charlatan.
I had a tarot reading by Austin and it was a total waste. He couldn’t even remember where he left his tarot cards and was unprepared! Plus, he could not even remember my name (he asked me my name at least 4 times).
The reading started by him saying: I see a lot of darkness in your life and I foresee a lot of tears– I can help you cure this. Within five minutes he said that I have a great and happy future ahead? My mind was a bit boggled– I tried to understand what he was saying and when I asked he kept repeating «i’m not worried about you, you’ll be more than fine.»
When I asked about my future, he said he did not see anything that was worth mentioning? At this point, I was thinking «ok, so why did you just charge me $ 45, and not mention anything?»
I can go on and on about this FRAUD. Bottom line, stay away!!!

Austin is the real deal. I had a tarot card reading with him that was unlike any reading I’ve ever had before. Austin’s demeanor was both calm and friendly, making it very comfortable to converse with him. I was able to ask him questions and he was nothing but honest. His accuracy astounded me, particularly when he asked about a wedding that I had recently attended. I would highly recommend Austin to anyone who feels that they are at a standstill in their life!

I was a little worried about meeting Austin for the first time. When going to reader for the first time it can feel a little awkward opening yourself up to a stranger and then when the accuracies come to light in the back and forth of the reading, it can feel so nerve racking to feeling almost embarrassed. What I appreciate and value most about Austin’s reading was the level of professionalism in making someone feel at ease. I further appreciate the tact when addressing issues that popped up in making a hard decision.
What makes Austin’s readings unique is how he levels with you to help with decision making and showing options of which I may be unaware, possible consequences of decisions or actions, and gave a different perspective on my issues or situations, including simply verifying what I already intuitively knew. In short, Austin’s readings are not fortune telling. It is not a prediction of the future. It is a look at probabilities based on the moment and the most likely outcome of current questions. The insight gained truly helped my self-​awareness, problem solving, or to help determine the direction I may need to go.

My mom wanted to get a tarot card reading for fun on her visit to LA, so we met up with Austin at a local café in Santa Monica (I was allowed to sit in on it, score!).
It’s up to you to decide how the reading will go – Austin is merely there to act as a mirror and reflect what he sees in the cards. My mom wanted to focus on questions about her career and relationships, and Austin, with his mellow mannerisms, was able to provide some interesting thoughts in his analysis.
We ended up talking about the reading for a couple hours after we left; it was a lot to think about. I don’t think anyone going into this should expect some kind of epiphany, just insight into your life that may have been overlooked. I see this less as some mystical, random hocus pocus and more as a different, worldly way to approach and reframe the predicaments in your life.

Austin’s the real deal. felt really good by him. my session with him was pretty spot on. he picked up on things about me, i was already in tune with; so that really ensures his accuracy! i highly recommend him.

I did a Numerology and Astrology reading with Austin a few weeks ago. I was kind of blown away by how spot on the picture he painted was. The insights I received from Austin have been really helpful in understanding myself, my strengths and my weaknesses and what I should look out for.
Austin’s a really down to earth guy, and while he can undoubtedly do a solemn style reading, he chooses to make it fun, friendly and generally a very pleasant experience.

I know Austin pretty well by now and have had several readings and while I am not as concerned as some of the gals about his crooked smile and rugged good looks, I do like that he has a true sense of metaphysical peace about him.
His skills are uncommon and his advice beneficial — I am writing this after reading the ad from a few below mine — omg — she seemed not to get it. This is California not oz. I hope a house doesn’t land on her.
If you want a professional reading from an local in Santa Monica — Austin is a great choice, If you want advice on Tai chi and meditation and healing and more he can help. And apparently you can get a cup of coffee where ever you meet him.
