I’ve worked with Ben on and off for a few years. I recently returned to his coaching and he’s taking my forehand to a new level and continuing to help me build my game!
Ben is great at noticing what’s working and what needs improved. My game continues to improve! Love working with him!

My 12 year old daughter set a goal last summer of playing her first tournament by this spring. I set a goal to find the right tennis instructor for her. Someone connected us to Ben Sharples, and we are so grateful. My daughter has improved her skills in every way and her first event is this weekend. Ben is adept at fine tuning everything with ease. His manner is supportive and kind, but don’t be fooled, this guy knows what he’s doing and is laser focussed on what he’s teaching. My girl has some natural talent and interest, but Ben has taken her from middle school recreational player to a mighty might with power and strategy in a matter of months. Each hour is utilized to the fullest. I never feel like we are wasting any time.
I think that Ben is a super talented player, coach and person. I know he teaches middle school girls and middle aged men, and everyone in between at various levels of fitness and aptitude. He is able to improve each of their games.

When I turned 40 I made a list of all the things I wanted to try and Tennis was on the top of my list. even though I didn’t have an athletic bone in my body I started researching tennis lessons online and found 3 coaches that seemed like they new what they were doing, so I tried one… he was mean and nasty, so I tried another (which I almost didn’t do) soooooo glad I did because I found Ben! He is an amazing experienced player with a kind gentle motivating personality. Well I am now 48 (yikes) and a great player thanks to Ben who I still play with to this very day.
