Antonio Berducci is a true artist when it comes to cutting curly hair. Those of us with curly hair know what a challenge that is. Antonio is fun, enthusiastic and loves his work which makes all the difference. I was amazed that he makes himself available after the haircut if you have questions about styling: he’ll phone or Skype. Whatever is needed. I would highly recommend Antonio. I am thrilled with my new cut.

Antonio is the best. Before meeting him I was terrified of the thought of getting a hair cut. Antonio understands my curls! I book him months in advance and always look forward to getting my hair done, whether it’s a cut or color. His appointment is one that I never miss out on. He is truly a life saver. I drive all the way from Santa Barbara every few months to have cut and color done by Antonio in Santa Monica. I found him through extensive research after many unsuccessful poodle mullets from other places (curly gals know what am talking about). To me, it is worth the drive to know I’ll come out looking fabulous.

I live in NYC and am an active athlete and beach goer year round. I started seeing Antonio as he knew how to California «brighten» my locks blonde, while taking in consideration that I am not going to be gentle on it. Antonio also noticed on social media I wear my hair «up» a lot and had the wherewithal to add highlights so my updo’ looked great too. Not to mentioned Antonio’s is a delight, with wonderful tales of his world travels! Love him!

I’m very particular about my hair. Antonio made me feel very comfortable by giving me a thorough consultation and walk through of styles and suggestions that would work well for me. I came in with the dullest color and the frizziest hair. It was in bad condition, the haircut wasn’t flattering and I needed an overall update. He analyzed my hair type, asked me about my thoughts on color and maintenance, and he asked me what my lifestyle is like.
Well he solved the color quickly and gave a blonde job like no other. People think it’s natural — and I am keeping it that way!
He gave me a haircut that requires very little maintenance and is good for both the curly days and the straight days. Low maintenance and chic — Yay!
He is consistent (been going to him for 7 years) and has yet to have an off day. My hair looks like a million bucks (and I feel great). Over these 7 years he has gotten me to transform significantly — keeping up with the time sensibly and ensuring I look great.
Also, he gives great lifestyle advice. My wardrobe has done a 360 since I started to ask for help. My travel plans are always made better because he has his globe trotting hot spots that are local secrets.

After years of walking around with frizzie curls and never understanding how to achieve the smooth curly just-​walked-​out-​of-​a-​salon look, I finally have the secret! Antonio is a master! His pinutra (color) and cuts are the best I have ever had. After starting at Devachan in NYC I was devastated that I would not have access to this kind of curly girl treatment in LA… but alas Antonio has taken it to a new level. He really is a unique kind of hair designer and caretaker. I am totally monogomous after being with him for 8 years, and his hands are certainly the only ones touching this blonde mane of hair!

Antonio is a curl-​genius and an expert in the art (for it is an art) of pintura, painting high– and low-​lights on curly hair (no mean feat, I can assure you). I had years of stylists thinning out and trying to tame my very thick, curly hair, and finally came to Antonio in desperation. He encouraged me to let the curls do what they do naturally, no more thinning out, and the result is my hair is much more manageable and, if I do say so, beautiful.

My hair has big loopy curls or frizz frizz frizz! I just didn’t understand how to care for my hair. Then I met Antonio! He helped me better understand how to care for curly hair: from shampoo to cut he knows his curly stuff. Now I love my hair and get a million compliments! This is a great place to get your hair done, he is not only great with curly hair but with all types, I have fine straight hair and I am wowed every time I come away.

Antonio is the best there is. I started at Deva Chan in NYC, then found Antonio through their website. I’ve been seeing him for about three years now and he is AMAZING.
While some might say it’s just hair, it’s not. You look at it everyday. It’s the first thing people see. Having curly hair can be a pain, but with the right cut, it’s beautiful. It also takes no time to do in the morning. Antonio and his assistants will show you exactly how to use products and clip so you can look curly girl brilliant at home.
Be warned, Antonio’s haircuts are not for those on a budget. But if you can spend money on your hair, you want to spend it here. Oh, and plan to be there about two hours.
Antonio mainly lives in New York, but is in LA every 4 – 6 weeks on a Sunday and Monday. It’s a bummer when your hair suddenly hits that «too long» stage and he won’t be back from weeks.
He now cuts my mom’s hair, too, and does just as terrific a job, even though her curls and style are completely different from mine. He’s great.

I have been following Antonio from Kenneth George to Christophe’s in Beverly Hills and them boom he drops a bomb on me… he’s moving to Devachan NY City aahhh, ok breath he’s coming back to cut hair… yes! So he left… whaa & came back even better, with his renewed knowledge of curly hair technic my hair is always having a good day.
Trust me you have to go check him out he will exceed your expectations and wow you everytime, he is here every five weeks and does this amazing dry cut for curly hair… you will love him!
