Custom Quick Sign rocks! They’ve made numerous signs for me over the last 10 years and I’ve always found them to be very responsive to my often immediate needs. Their work is flawless and they pay attention to details — you don’t find that too often in the sign business! Fairly and competitively priced. Very good creative team.

I was in a bind for a tradeshow and needed to get 3 larger decals made for our booth name and company logo, Steve was so great to work with. He was very calm (I was in a panic) and he said to email. He then gave me a call back with a reasonable quote and didn’t charge a rush fee and said the project would be done that same day by noon.
I recommend Steve and Custom Quick Sign and will be a loyal customer going forward.

We worked with Custom Quick Sign for an event we were doing in Los Angeles and being far away and not-​so knowledge about vinyling, we were a bit nervous about the project. But no fear with Jeff and Steve. They took the time to explain the ins-​and-​out of everything and rigorously worked with us to make sure it was what we wanted. Even helped us in a pinch with day of additions and changes.
Quick yet through. Couldn’t ask for anything better! Highly recommend!

AS GOOD AS THEIR WORD!
Here’s how it played out:
When I switch my hat from Graphic Artist to Pre-​press Production Manager Im usually pretty good about checking my projects before I take them to print. Typos, photo retouching, color adjustments, live area safety and making sure that there’s plenty of bleed over the die line etc.
For some reason I was off my game on this one simple banner project… the text was too close to were the seam and gourmets would hit. Thank goodness that Steve at CQS was there to point this out rather than blow it off and just take my money.
This action already equals exceptional service!
I get back to my studio, adjust the file and as per Steve’s requested I emailed it back to CQS.
BOOM! I’M DONE RIGHT? nope.
Steve saved my job again, and points out that the resolution was too low and was concerned that the image would not look as good as it should. Long story short… third time was the charm and all I needed to do now was wait for CQS to notify me that my banner was done.
I got that call less than 48 hours later! My banner looks amazing and my client is happy!!!

My initial experience with Custom Quick Sign was positive.
Eventually some issues came up, and I grew disappointed with their ability to perform consistently /​quickly.
1^st Job:
My real estate company had a very important event at the L.A. Convention Center, and we needed some quality signage.
I contacted CQS just a few days before the event, and they were eager to accommodate the rush order.
I initially spoke with Debbie, and she is an exceptional customer support person /​intelligent problem solver. She listened to my vision for the 2 large banners and sign with stand ideas that I had… and presented me with several great options. Within 1 hour of our initial conversation, she had e-​mailed me some rough outlines of how the work would look. The designs exceeded my expectations.
Over the next few days, the designs were amended slightly… and I dealt with Diana via e-​mail and Jeff over the phone. Both were always pretty quick to respond and friendly.
The cost for the work was reasonable.
I had to be at the Convention Center by 3pm at the latest on a Tuesday to set up, so I made it very clear to them that I needed the materials by 2pm at the absolute latest on Tuesday.
I was assured that would happen.
They called me around 1pm on Tuesday to inform me that the items were ready for pick-​up at their store.
I hustled over there and upon arrival realized that some of my items were there and some were not.
2 banners were incorrectly delivered elsewhere.
They outsourced the blame (saying that the delivery driver made the error and picked up the wrong items from their printing facility).
They were able to rectify the situation be re-​printing the banners at their facility and sending a staff member to personally deliver the banners directly to the convention center. So kudos for that.
2^nd Job:
A few weeks later I needed some minor edits done to a business card and a small informational tri-​fold brochure. Literally just needed some contact info. changed on an already designed business card and a few tiny details tweaked on an already designed brochure. Their quote was for $ 300 (4 hours). I paid less to have the entire brochure and business card created from scratch.
It also took them 5 calendar days to get me that quote.
I sent them a detailed e-​mail explaining the job on a Wednesday and I did receive a quick response from Debbie letting me know that she had received my request and that they would get back to me soon with a quote for the job.
5 days later the bloated quote came my way.
That’s just way too slow.
Their staff is talented from a design perspective.
They are friendly and capable of delivering a quality product.
Where they are lacking is in the ability to consistently execute quickly.
My guess is that they are simply understaffed… and delays are the result.
And in my experience, they over-​charge for simple design edits.
I would give them 3.5 stars if I could.
I went with 3 because they have inconvenienced me on two occasions.

Great service, fast turnaround, and excellent communication. Needed a 10×3 vinyl banner for a team meeting on short notice. I sent them a couple ideas and some EPS graphics, and they gave me back a great design the same day and delivered the sign the next day. Could not be more pleased. Highly recommended.

I am working towards my MFA in Fine Arts and needed some large vinyl letters made for a piece I was working on. Everyone I spoke with at Custom Quick Signs was incredibly helpful. They had my lettering completed promptly and even rectified a misunderstanding with the order on the spot. When I picked up the lettering, one of the designers took a lot of time to show me how to apply them to a surface, since I was super nervous I would ruin them. I will definitely be doing business with them again.

After moving my small business to Santa Monica, we found ourselves needing to find our usual resources again locally. Needing a resource for cut vinyl stickers, and not having much time after procrastinating, we decided to give Custom Quick Sign a try– What a lifesaver! Steve was very friendly and helpful with what we needed and was able to get it all done quick! (Guess they don’t call themselves Quick Sign for nothing!) Their prices are very competitive and their customer service is phenomenal. Big ups :)
