I can’t say enough good things about this place! The waiters are so friendly and accommodating and the food is perfection. I had the angel hair pomodoro and a cesar salad and both dishes were fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Do they ask for 15% gratuity as preset? Because it already included in the check on top of the tip. My friend and I went to George Bistro on Saturday. Two people of us ordered one BBQ baby back rib, one Calamari and two drinks. We saw there was a 15% tip amount already added in the subtotal of check before tip. Surprisingly, the Tip part of the check was still in blank. Do they alway decide 15% tip upfront?

Just A-ok really. The hostess sat us down, wasn’t overly friendly or not. Just bleh. Service was adequate but wasn’t getting the friendly vibe from anybody, server and food runners. I had the fish ceviche… Wasn’t that good. Too citrusy n flavorless so I didn’t finish it. The fried calamari was done right. Very crispy. The fish n chips was okay, fish was super breaded. Not bad though. The only great thing was the patio! Indoor looked a bit dim but the patio was perfect for chilling out.

Service was good, the wait staff was very kind. The food was good, worth the price in comparison to everything else on 3rd Street…

Ordered the lasagna. Ate ¼ of it. Tasted like microwaveable lasagna. Made my stomach hurt immediately after. I wasn’t impressed especially w how much everything is.

Overall very poor. Tasteless food, over priced. Service okay but superficial. Avoid unless your desperate to eat without waiting.

I hate writing bad reviews, I really do. I live in the neighborhood & on the promenade often. I pass by this place a lot, and always see a sad sight of one of their female employees holding menus trying to recruit passer-bys into their restaurant. Owner: You need to make better quality food & then you won’t have to have someone begging outside your store for customers. You’re on the Promenade. So if the place is empty… there’s a reason. This ownership needs to a hire business consultant fast, before this place goes down the toilet. I literally went in here cause I felt bad for them, and decided to try it to see if it’s as bad as the empty seats are showing it to be. Overpriced & mediocre quality. I can make this at home… and I can’t cook. I had a Chicken Chipotle Pasta & my friend had the Chicken Florentine Pasta. They were both«ok» and I would not have had a complaint if I bought this for $ 7.99 at Ameci’s Pizza(that has the same quality). But we paid $ 18 per dish. SO. NOT. WORTH. IT. Good news? It’s on the Promenade & has nice outdoor seating so you can enjoy people watching in beautiful Santa Monica weather. Also, the waiter who served me was very kind & attentive.

Nice restaurant on the 3rd st promenade. We sat outside and enjoyed the music from a musician performing right in front. Free parking on 2nd st garages got first 90 minutes. Food was good.

Their food is great. I like their Bruschetta and Pasta. However, the manger is very rude. He has horrible customer service skills. If they change that, it’ll be great. The waiters are very sweet too.

Good variety of food on the menu displayed outside got me interested. They have burgers, Italian, and salads, and other stuff. I had Italian and it was good, wiped my plate clean with the delicious bread. You can’t go wrong. The inside was a little cheesy and a tad grimy but don’t let that deter you, enjoy the food, it’s solid.

Patio table recommended, great for sights and sounds of the 3rd Street Promenade. The food is delicious!

The finest dining experience on the promenade. The service is fully aware of how good their food is, closer to an English, French type attitude. I have eaten everything there, and it’s the best tasting stuff in the area, maybe the county.

PERSONNEL: The only people who paid attention to me were the hostess and one of the busboys. The manager was there, looked like he ate a frog. Would leave me hanging right when I approached with a question. Even a sunny day in Santa Monica couldn’t brighten his crappy attitude. It was obvious, noone from the personnel communicated effectively with each other, and you know who usually set up the mood for unhappy employees who hate each other-right! the manager! FOOD: ordered fish’n’chips. Soggy fish, soggy fries. Bad quality. Bad service, bad food… hm, is there anything else besides location you guys can offer? Maybe some good massage then?

Lame service, rude waiter, way overpriced food, paid almost $ 18 for a vegetable marinara pasta that tasted like something you can buy at Costco’s frozen section, almost no vegetarian options.

Perfectly average restaurant on Third Street. Very fast friendly service with decent food that’s a tad overpriced. I had a blackened chicken sandwich with fries and a glass of wine. It’s a good spot for grabbing a bite while people watching.

This place is just okay. The food isn’t bad but it isn’t great either. It’s also overpriced for the type of food it has. My chicken Caesar salad was definitely not worth 15 bucks. For having so many options in Santa Monica, this wouldn’t be a first choice.

Nice small restaurant. Good service. There is a street performer outside singing when we were eating. Food here is decent, but not like super amazing. They give u bread and butter before the meal. The portion is not that big for the price. For a girl the portion may be just right, but for guys it’s defiantly not enough food. We got the Linguine Vongolett with white sauce, and chicken ravioli. And the meals came with salad or soup. The clams in the linguine vongolett is pretty fresh. I liked the sauce a lot because it wasn’t too rich. The sauce of the ravioli is really good, though wish they gave us more raviolis.

Wowi Wowi, I got the Mahi Mahi Sandwich. Tasted so good, and wasn’t too expensive. Came with some fries, which were tasty too. I think I paid $ 15 for my self with a soda included. The hostess was nice, our server was okay. I feel he was a bit rushed, and a bit robotic. The inside looks like a cave, and seating is limited. The outdoor seating is nice, since it’s Santa Monica, but the sun can get annoying, coverage is limited.

The bruschetta was good, but perhaps not $ 9.95 good. Service was excellent. Bf and I sat outside. I didn’t like the chairs=flimsy plastic chairs that seemed unstable. We ordered steamed clams($ 14.95). They were a bit chewy. Not what I expected for $ 14.95. We ordered a Boston Seafood salad for $ 18.95, which consisted of watery mini scallops, shrimps, and calamari. Equally overpriced.

Everything was alright. That’s the best I can say about it. The service was shmeh, the food was shmeh… everything was shmeh. The inside was small and smelled kind of weird… although, I have to admit, i thought the décor was kind of interesting. I think they’re attempting to make you feel like you’re outside. The smell killed it. Anyways… if you go, it’s not going to be the best experience you’ve ever had, and it won’t be the best food you’ve ever tasted… but it won’t kill you or scar you for life. So… yeah. In my opinion, it was a little over priced for what we got, and there are far better options on 3rd Street to choose from. I personally will not be returning.
