Love Lee’s Market! Not sure if «Lee» is the owner, but this place rocks. Perfect for last minute craft beer run and essentials that you tend to run out of at the worst time… such as ketchup on hot dog night… disaster avoided! Prices are the same as Ralph’s grocery store, so you don’t get raped like most liquor stores. Don’t expect gourmet or to do your weeks worth of shopping here. Do expect to find the most random items that happen to be just what you needed. I don’t know how they do it, but they always have that one thing that I forgot at the grocery store! I think they must have a genie…

This place is great! Its items are reasonable, especially their wine & beer selection… very comparable! The staff always shows the same friendliness that you do towards them!!! Also, they carry a lot of items that you cant get everywhere; such as my husbands new favorite brew(New Belgium — Trippel)! Sure, it doesn’t seem to be the cleanest, but hey you aren’t planning to take a shower here(and I wouldn’t recommend such, even if it was a possibility). If you need a quick-stop-shop, this will be your new favorite!

the staff at Lee’s always go out of their way to make sure I get what i’m looking for. They have even asked me to name the things they don’t carry so that next time when i come back they will have it in stock. this worked great when I was looking for a special type of beer. Love this place, great prices, & good service.

This is a good neighborhood place. The staff is very friendly and they don’t mark stuff up a lot like a lot of other liquor stores. Just beer and win though. There is also easy parking at the two meters out front of in the parking lot in the back alley.

Lee’s Market is one of the three convenience stores between 17th and 28th Streets in the Sunset Park neighborhood. When I lived across the street, I used to frequent this store all the time. They carry a pretty standard convenience store selection – candy, alcohol, a few groceries, soda, and cigarettes. At least, that’s what I usually came to the store for. The only downside to Lee’s is that they only carry beer, though the beer is usually pretty reasonably priced. They always seemed to have a sale on some 12 pack or another every week. For more alcohol selection, you have to go to either the store at 28th/Ocean Park or 18th/Ocean Park. They also close pretty early(10pm), but there’s another store that stays open until 2am on Pico Boulevard and 22nd Street. The guys who ran the place were friendly enough. I think most of our conversations were about purchasing packs of cigarettes. If you live in Sunset Park, it’s nice to have around.
