We weren’t looking for the copay or anything else like that to be waived. Our area is contention is that it’s not transparent what patients are being billed for and the office visit charge parameters are especially murky. We got charged an office visit when there was barely 5 minutes of conversation. At least it should be made transparent that if a conversation happens regarding a medical topic you will be charged an office visit. Otherwise it’s confusing why if our kid is coming in to get a second or third vaccination we are being charged another office visit if the consultation happened at the first visit recognizing that should allergies or unforeseen circumstances arise additional consultation may be needed. Regardless our out of network pediatrician is very succinct in terms of what he charges us for and is actually cheaper than the in network based on the charges received to date. Thanks
