I have been going to Lisa since she first opened. She’s talented, honest and amazing with color. I took some bad advice and went to a different salon for color… I left in tears. I drove straight to Lisa and she fixed my hair immediately. She never made me feel bad for going to another salon. She just fixed the problem, which was very bad, and we moved on. I will never stray again!!! You can’t go wrong with Lisa as your hair stylist.

I love David! I’ve been going to him since he was at Kenneth George many moons ago. He did my wedding hair and make-​up and traveled all the way to the Mission Inn in Riverside to help me have a great day! My wedding was at 10 am and the reception ended at midnight. My hair and make-​up held up for the entire day!
David also helped my mother-​in-​law when she was visiting from Ireland and in desperate need for color repair after another stylist destroyed her color.
Great place to go!

David @ Pomp Salon is THE MAN FOR COLOR. Honestly, he is very knowledgeable, skilled and honest about what he is capable of doing. I went in with dark brown hair, looking to go blonde. He successfully turned me into a blonde in two sessions. My hair was healthy and no damage!!!
No one else can do that!
You will be happy with the results when you go to David for color.
The salon overall is friendly and welcoming. Huge in my book! I will be back again and again. No one else gets to touch my hair.

Switched to a new salon and stylist due to Pomp closing & David moving to a location too far from me. I did find a fantastic colorist & stylist closer to my work/​home. Thanks!

Great place, great people, Betty is fantastic! keeping her. color, cut, the works — she is the best there is.

Miss Betty has done my makeup several times … She gave me a makeover when I changed my hair color and also did a FANTASTIC job of my makeup for a retro/​pinup girl photo shoot. She is absolutely fantastic in every way! She has never done my hair but I have seen her work on others and can only say Wow! Request Miss Betty and you are guaranteed to be happy with the results.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new haircut done my Gema Meynard. Honestly, there isn’t another hair stylist that can compete, she does it all and does it better than anyone!
The salon is very easy going and not so «hoitty toitty» like many posh salons. People are SUPER friendly and just not pretentious at all. People compliment my hair every day! Try it and you will not be disappointed! :)

This is a great salon, spacious and very relaxing. Couldn’t get a better location either. Free 2 hour valet parking for their customers Pomp Salon is one of the best that I’ve found in South Bay/​Santa Monica area.

Walking into the Pomp salon was such a pleasure! The ambience is amazing-​right across from the Santa Monica beach.
Lisa is an expert at making women look beautiful! She has an eye for what to do to make” your look” sizzle!
I have seen her clients ranging from teens to Grandmothers come out looking amazing. Her clients tell me that she is the best and can transform any hair into beautiful. Lisa is a winner !

You must go see Miss Betty. She is Amazing!!! She is very talented with color and does a fabulous job! The salon is nice and clean. I highly recommend her.

This is a great salon right on the beach. I got my hair cut by Betty and she was great. She took what I (and my girlfriend) suggested and gave me one of the better cuts I’ve had. She took the time and paid attention to detail, rather than running over my head with some clippers.
I had a very nice experience here and would definitely go back and see Betty again.

I’m a BIG supporter of organic and green friendly products. I had the pleasure of being introduced to Pomp Salon through my mother and sister, and MAN was I hooked! Not only was the place immaculate (talk about sparing NO expense) but, the whole ambiance and vibe of the place was so… BALANCED! And friendly?!! The owner, Lisa was SO warm and hospitable. I had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Miss Betty and aside from looking like someone straight out of a magazine herself, she was definitely talented and skilled with her hands. My hair STILL looks great and full of life. I felt VERY comfortable at Pomp and the convenience of parking, awesome location and eco-​friendly everything really is inviting. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Great stylists, beautiful location, reasonable prices. I’ve been to Pomp a couple times and each experience was great. The last two times, I had Miss Betty do my cut and style and she is wonderful. The last time I went, I got a cut and then I asked if Betty could do some curls because I was headed to a food/​wine tasting event that evening. She happily complied with my request and I got lots of compliments. The salon is very clean and spacious, and they always offer you tea or water during your services. They have a large selection of Pureology products which I like along with makeup and accessories as well. You are right across the street from the ocean which is kinda neat, even if you can’t see the water inside the salon. My only issue with Pomp is the lack of parking. You either have to get really lucky on Ocean Ave in front or use the valet parking under the building. The valet is free with validation but I just always hate the hassle of valet. Other than that, it’s a great salon and you should definitely ask for Betty for a new, fun look!

Some guys might not be too picky about their hair cuts however I tend to be and I was extreamly satisfied with my experiece at Pomp with the talented Diana Marin.
All too often stylists will neglect listening to how I want my hair cut and just toss some clippers around, but not Diana. She obviously knows how to analyze a style request and communicate how the cut will look.
If your a guy in need of a quality haircut from a quality professional definetly go see Diana.

Luna is AAAAmazing. He really is a very, very talented stylist. He just did a cut and color, and it’s the best haircut I’ve ever had! :)

Helen is the best hairdresser with two hands. Hands down, she is the most talented, friendly and gifted hair stylist in the vicinity. I love this place, everyone is very friendly and the coffee is robust! My hair always looks great afterwards and the wash is orgasmic. Try it!
Ask for Helen… you wont regret it.
