Went here at night felt really cold and uninviting. The food tasted great. Food portions were really small for the price. I would think twice before going back.

I would love to give 5 stars because the food and drinks are truly worth the price you pay. I believe in what this place stands for. I love the space. I love the menu, the flavors, the overall vibe. It has the potential to be incredible. I can get over the hair in my pasta. That was gross, but I still went back. In fact I was there nearly daily. Until my last terrible experience there that ruined it for me. One of the waitstaff. Obnoxious, rude and just ridiculous. I’d love to speak to the owner but I can’t step foot in that place. It’s really too bad. That said, Danielle is a peach. Excellent service with a great big heart.

Not cheap, but great selection of dishes + juices, and the staff is wonderful. I particularly recommend the superfood soup(heavenly!), the crunchy rolls and the tiger rolls — and for dessert the rose chocolates. This is the best vegan hangout we have found in our 90405 area — lovely and neighborly.

It was my first time here and I was really impressed with the food. Sooo yummy and healthy. The Buddha bowl is delicious.

I came here to pick up an order and I thought I’d be in and out since it was called in. I could not have been more wrong. I’m not sure if they’re under staffed or what, but it seemed to take forever for anything to get done. I stood waiting for a drink an extra 15+ minutes. I know it’s not Starbucks, but come on. I’ve been over 40 minutes now. Dying… Slowly…

Rawvolution is my local haunt. Its been very helpful for me as I bridge the gap and move toward a diet that also includes raw food. For those that are still moving toward raw, and are still developing their tastes, there are some great teas(the lemon-ginger being my favorite. It has quite a spicy kick) as well as some food options like the Crispy Roll(think sushi without the fish) that are really good. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Danielle, Meghan and the rest are all as sweet as can be. Speaking of sweet, try the wide selection that they have available. The maca ball is sure to please. Jenna-By(the owner) has created quite a gathering space, with really good food, great for raw-foodists as well as itinerants with eclectic tastes.

I came here with a friend, it was her pick(Jazmin). The food was just okay. The customer service was horrible! When ordering I could barely hear them speaking asking for my order and so rude! Like they were preoccupied in thought, almost like I was bothering them. I had a lot of questions and I’m so sick and tired or restaurants not giving you the information you need regarding where they get their veggies, if they are organic, how they are stored, and prepped, what oils they use if the veggies, nuts, and grains are non GMO. I mean they might as well have been watching TV. It was like the lights were on but, the batteries were dead.

Very expensive. They charge a lot. Service — not so good. Some food is nice, but we have lots of places like this now. Just average overall.

Came here some warm drinks on Saturday afternoon. I had the wake up kiss which was nice and nutty with some sweetness from the cinnamon. Another person in our party had he hot chocolate and was not a huge fan because it is not really sweetened at all so it was not what she was expecting. Service was very slow but we were not in a hurry. Prices were also a bit high but they use quality ingredients and everything is raw. We got a cinnamon roll to go and ate it later and it was amazing. It was so nice and gooey and tasted like raw dough and frosting. I love any kind of raw dough so I adored this. Definitely try the cinnamon roll.

Review update. 1÷8÷16. Downgrading this by a star. Visited today, and wasn’t very impressed. Got a serenity salad, and a specialty coffee. Total with tip: $ 33. The salad honestly didn’t merit $ 18. It was shy on everything except pickled cabbage, and mixed greens. I got the distinct impression that whereas before, I quantified this place as somewhat pricey… it is instead priced via the hype train. Also, hearing workers complain about the management loudly didn’t help the experience. It’s still a place to visit… but not quite as competent as I first thought.

This place is great. We took our daughter here for her birthday. She loved the food. This could make anyone turn in to go to raw food. Delicious salad food and desserts and drinks. And great atmosphere as well as service. They also have live music with the California van man. Highly recommended.

This is another one of those not-so-secret hole-in-the-wall places with a super hipster/hippie vibe that has earned its popularity and local love. The food, while pricey, is some of the healthiest you’ll find. And whether or not you buy into the whole raw-volution thing happening right now, you have to admit, the food is amazing, and the health perks alone make it worth the price. To get the most bang for your buck, I suggest either coming with friends and sharing– don’t worry, there’s plenty of room– or getting some of their more popular sides like the Tiger Roll, which is a coconut curry roll made with Szechuan veggies, avocado, & sweet chili sauce; the Onion Bread, which is simply a thin slab of savory bread; & one of their signature dishes like the sweet Apple AB Sandwich which is made with their apple bread, raw almond butter, & fresh apple slices. Regardless of what you choose to get, be prepared for some craziness. Everything they make here is super unique, from the coconut jerky to the Dandy Coffee made from dandelion root, cacao, almond milk, and other good-for-you ingredients. The menu has a little bit of something for everyone, from Mexican-inspired raw dishes to pizzas you would never guess are dairy-free, to burgers & sandwiches, and even delicious desserts like chocolate pie & truffles made from completely raw superfood ingredients. If you’re not in the mood for food, they also serve raw pressed juices & smoothies, and even cold brew coffee drinks. Do prepare to pay a lot, but also prepare to feel like superman/girl walking out of this place. Enjoy!

I went here to get some work done on my laptop, free wifi! I love the atmosphere; it’s your typical, hipster looking café so of course I loved it! I ordered some green tea and the cheesed stuffed jalapeños. The jalapeños were dehydrated, so it was hard for me to bite into. You had to give it some gnawing and tug to get a bite. I know that it’s not like a regular vegetarian cheese stuffed jalapeño, but it wasn’t that satisfying to me. The jalapeño itself was really spicy being just dehydrated. I drank one whole glass of water for one bite x.x. The filling itself was good and I really enjoyed the cashew mayo dip, but I honestly could not finish after 2 pieces(out of 6). Because I didn’t really enjoy it, I asked the waitress for a refund. We made me feel a little uncomfortable about it, but I thought it would be fair if I couldn’t eat it. Nonetheless, she was nice enough to give me a refund. Would I come back? I would! It’s a great place to get work done, there are tons of items on the menu that sound delicious. I’m sure I just chose the wrong thing for me. So yes, I would recommend it!

Always walk by there, smells great. Have to try more but their vegan chocolate truffles are to die for, about $ 6 a pop!!! Not cheap :) ALWAYSPACKED, day or night. I love that on the side of the restaurant you can see the people preparing(I would say cooking but this is a raw joint lol) People are always drinking their pineapple or coconut water drinks. Good sized portions, very distinct smell. On the corner right across the street from Santa Monica’s Main Street community garden. you won’t miss it :)

Convenient location, only a few minutes by foot from the beach. We were seating for a while before a server came up to us to take our order and clean our table. We basically had to ask. We ordered the Tiger rolls and hummus. I didn’t realize at this point that the hummus would be chickpea-free, which is totally fine. It tasted ok though. Lighter, obviously. It did not come with any bread/crackers, that was extra. Not too cool. I know this is a raw place, but the Tiger rolls were extremely light, not too filling. The coconut wrap was… interesting! We could have ordered more food, granted, but the price was already almost $ 50 for 2 with the dessert… Not worth spending more! And we did enjoy the desserts: we had the cinnamon roll and a fudge square. I liked — this time — that the cinnamon roll was lighter than non vegan ones!

Raw vegan food? Seriously, it can’t be that good. Well gosh darn it I couldn’t be more wrong. I’ve been gravitating towards vegetarian food recently… Trying to go completely vegan but my love of cheese is just being stubborn and won’t go away. Thankfully there are places like this that won’t make you miss dairy. The atmosphere is very relaxed, slightly hippie but I dig it. The staff there were so friendly and patient. I really had no idea what I wanted to order and they gave great recommendations. I came here post hike and wanted something refreshing, the fridge is stocked with fresh juices and I decided to try the root juice with beets, carrots, ginger and lemon. My boyfriend juices at home and I DONOT like juices but this one was fantastic! I felt reenergized instantly. Red enchilada — the guacamole is tasty and very creamy. The wrap doesn’t taste anything like those bland, stale and cardboard tasting wraps that some places use. This was moist and soaked in all the flavor of the topping they put on it. I am not entirely sure what all the ingredients were in the dish but I loved it all together. It even tasted like it had some real dairy in it. Meat eaters: ditch that burger and savor the greens here. Your taste buds and body will thank you

So glad this place exists. I only wish there was parking. The customer service can be slow but everyone is exceptionally nice. The food is consistent and I LOVE the fact that they started serving Longevity coffee. It’s not easy to find mycotoxin free coffee. I enjoy Bulletproof coffee(another mycotoxin free option) but I find the Longevity coffee has a smoother flavor, without the acid notes. The Big Matt with cheeze it pretty great but my most recent fave is the tiger roll. Not big enough to be a meal on its own IMO but makes a great side when you split it with someone. My friend and I split one of those and the nachos and we were super full.

The Nachos, Chocolate Durian smoothie, and Mulberry pie were all wonderful. The staff was also very friendly. I thought the smoothie was overpriced for what I got, but the nachos & pie were inexpensive in comparison. I’ll go back. There’s a ton of options on the menu I’d like to try.

We had an amazing brunch and lunch at Rawvolution yesterday. The food is outstanding! The prizes very fair and it’s organic on top. Even we don’t eat that way all the time, Rawvolution has dishes to offer we just love and enjoy a lot. The service is great! Coming in, I always feel welcome and appreciated. We filmed all ur favorite dishes, take a look, it will help you to decide what to get We absolutely in love with the Mexican Pizza and the Nachos Grande. Also the burgers are great. We haven’t tried all the dessert yet, but they all look amazing. For breakfast, we would totally recommend the bagel and the scramble. I can not imagine my life without their onion bread, I get it with every dish on the side. They have a great selection of organic juices and salads here for a lighter meal.

I’m not vegan but I do like places like café gratitude and native foods. The raw food aspect is a little less appealing. I personally don’t like when vegan items are named after their imitation when they bear almost no resemblance to the original cause it’s a total misnomer. Not being very hungry, I ordered the apple bread and sampled from what my friends ordered. Apple bread is dehydrated such that it has the texture of a fruit roll up. Definitely should not be called bread when it has the texture of jerky. The pad Thai was kinda gross, and was too sweet. There is no way anyone would think of it as a vegan pad Thai. The saving grace were the nachos(delicious, but also something you could easily make yourself) and the zucchini noodle pesto. Prices here are pretty high for what you get, organic or not. It is a pleasant, casual café though and they were very nice about letting us hang out for awhile.
