The staff is so rude and condescending. We were blow away. Our car did not start after filling up the tires with air? They put it on the charger and said it would be about 45 min. He said to try and start after 15 min. It did not start and we were directed to wait more. A second mechanic come over took the charger off and said you need to buy a battery. We asked a couple questions. He just kept repeating «buy a battery or move your car». We didn’t even know what was wrong with the car yet. We asked why are you talking to is like this. He kept repeating «its my business».
MY FAMILY WILL NEVER GO NEAR THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN.

horrible place I have been working with them for a long time but the new person whose name shawn is the biggest liar you can ever see in your life first he said he will do it for that price to make sure you get there then all the sudden all the price change and go up very unprofessional very rude as well as he gives you attitude that you feel like he is the customer you re the owner he fights with all the customer such a bad experience dont take your car there just a honest advice

I know this place long time and ed is a great person and mechanic but his new partner is totally wrong and unprofessional as well as the biggest liar you can find he quote me one price then he goes around and change the price on me dont trust this place if you dont want to get rip off dont go or pass by there its total scan i wish ed was the owner still not this new scam guy whose name is shawn now we have to look for a new mechanic around here such a shame as all of us know finding a good and trustworthy mechanic almost very though now need to find a good one if you dont want to get ripped off dont go there good luck

I called and somebody offered a $ 10 coupon. Arrive they tell me expired. Employee starts a fight over the price his other co worker told me and they’re both not manager or owner.

Hands-​down the best place to take your car on the westside. These guys are great! I moved to LA 5 years ago and have not been able to find a friendly, trustworthy and reliable mechanic and smog check place until now. The first time I went here I was greeted with a smile by Patrick — this was a breath of fresh air as I had been to 4 other places before coming here. I came back the following day for my service and that is when I had the pleasure of meeting NORIK and ED. Both of them were suburb. Being a woman it is not always easy finding people you trust and feel comfortable. I can’t recommend them enough. Give them a try — you’ll be glad you did!

Very fast and nice. I was able to get my smog done immediately without hassle. There’s also a gas station and small shop where you can get coffee while waiting. They made the process very easy.

Well they don’t actually open at 7AM. I woke up early to drive down from Sherman Oaks (my job is in Santa Monica) for a quick smog check. After waiting 10 minutes after 7AM. I asked the gas station attendant if he knew what time the Smog place would open. He said «Oh the guy doesn’t come in until 8 or 8:30AM. They should update their hours if this is the case.

I came in around 5:00 on a Monday for my mandatory LA smog check and was immediately taken care of. Although I had a coupon for $ 10 off, there was a better rate they told me about that made the cost of my Smog test and labor $ 50.
The total amount of time was about 25 minutes, they also informed me of a few things I may want to consider for my car, without trying to sell me.
«If you have your own mechanic, let him know about…» Trust that is hard to find in Los Angeles.

They checked the smog out of my car. No line, took 15 minutes and got a $ 10 coupon from their website. AND it’s right across the street from Burger King, so you can eat crappy food while you wait. I’ve been there twice and if I could get my smog checked everyday this is where I would do it.

Awesome service… couldn’t get any better… would HIGHLY recommend. Paid $ 49.80 which was all inclusive of test and certificate. No wait and received the best service I’ve ever had for smog checks in the 10+ years I’ve been getting them.

Very friendly, awesome customer service and very fast. You can sit in your car and wait or wait in the garage and watch them work. Takes about 5 minutes per car. $ 50 includes test, paperwork and submitting electronically to the DMV.

Fast, easy and reasonably priced smog check! 49.80 for the whole thing, certificate included.
I waited about 10 minutes while he finished the previous customer’s smog, and then mine was done in about another 10 – 15. I just sat down in one of the three clean, white folding chairs at the place and read my book for a few minutes.
Although my car passed on the first test, it was comforting to know that if you don’t pass you get one free re-​test. And because it’s a test only center, you don’t worry about anyone trying to scam you into getting any repairs done. Also, the guy there was friendly, courteous, and told me a few things about my car I didn’t know (like, «don’t worry about your particular model of car not passing a smog test unless the check engine light is on»).
