Tacos Tuzo

Al pastor taco is fresh and flavorful with a sizable portion of meat and excellent corn tortillas. A tasty bargain at $ 1.75. I’ll be trying other things here but my first taste bodes well for this truck.
Note that I found it at 5^th and Santa Monica during weekday lunchtime. Not sure of its other whereabouts.

The food quality is great and the price is probably the best you can find in the area it is in.
So far I had pupusas, lamb tacos (!!!), chicken tacos and a meat plate. They’re all pretty good and done right. I also love that their food is never greasy so it’s perfect for lunch and if you eat light.
They don’t compromise on the hotness of the red hot sauce too. (In fact, it’s super spicy so ask for the salsa verde if you don’t want salsa that’s too spicy)
The people running inside are very mom-​and-​pop so it’s refreshing to go to a place like that for lunch in the area. This area in Santa Monica usually only has restaurants run by business men.
If you need lunch in the area and you’re tired of eating Chipotle because it’s nothing like real tacos and burritos, check this truck out. They also have pupusas and tamales when you can’t get it elsewhere in Santa Monica.
