Tango Amore

Hands down the finest dance class instruction I have ever experienced. I have taken classes in tango, ballroom, swing, and salsa and I have never had the pleasure of working with an instructor who is so focussed on giving students such a solid foundation of technique. What Jose Espinoza teaches in a group setting is what most instructors save for private lessons. Not only that, but he actually follows a logical curriculum so that students progress incrementally from class to class. Each class begins with a review of what was learned in the previous class and then new elements are added in such a way as to build one skill upon another.
As if this weren’t enough of a reason to take these classes, Jose Espinoza is a master at putting his students at ease and making us all laugh while, in some magical way, still making it clear that what we are doing is a serious endeavor worthy of effort, concentration, and diligence.
After being in the dance world off and on since 1985, I can safely say that there is no one out there who approches dance instruction the way that Jose does. And believe me, his approach is spectacularly effective.
