The Classic Chocolate Chip Cookie is by far one of the most delicious treats I have ever had. Came across Secret Goldfish Baking Co. as I was taking a stroll through the Santa Monica Main Street Farmers Market on a Sunday. That day I had my fair share of blood oranges, strawberries, a latte and a bag full of brussel sprouts for dinner when I came across this simple, elegant, intoxicating (good intoxication) little fresh baked goods stand. The bread and cookies were no joke, popping out at me like a 3-​D movie. I tasted, I couldn’t believe how good it was. Now, my supply is running low. Be back soon.

I came across these guys at the Santa Monica Farmers Market this past Sunday. They have vegan breads, cookies, little pizzas & more. I got a little pizza because I was in the mood for something savory, and although I didn’t have anything to heat it with, it was really yummy! The people here were extremely nice as well, I can’t wait until next Sunday!

Secret Goldfish makes the most amazing baked goods. I’m addicted to the oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. I can’t stop eating them, they are soft and chewy with dark chocolate chips… hands down best cookies I’ve ever had! I’ve also tried the rosemary & kalamata olive bread… seriously delicious. Looking forward to trying the salt & sage focaccia next!

I ordered a dozen oatmeal chocolate chip cookies as much-​needed sustenance for my friend when she was stuck at home studying for her bar exam. The Secret Goldfish Baking Company wrapped the treats up beautifully and included my «Yay, future lawyer”-ish note, and I’ll take my friend’s word for it that the cookies were delicious! (Still waiting to heat whether she passed the bar, but if so, I’m willing to bet it was the cookies’ doing.)

I’ve been ordering from The Secret Goldfish for a few months now, and I can honestly say that they’ve revolutionized my diet. I was always looking for a way to eat healthy bread that is still delicious, and until I found The Secret Goldfish, this was a nearly impossible task!
I LOVE the Santa Ana Semolina loaf, and the 100% Whole Wheat Rustic loaf. The Zucchini quick bread is easily the best I’ve ever tasted. You really can’t go wrong with anything you order.
And delivery bread?! Genius!

I ordered a dozen Snickerdoodles. These are vegan with no eggs or butter, but I could not tell by the taste. They were rich and soft and delicious. Not only that, but I took them on a trip and they remained soft and delish for five days, even after forgetting and leaving them in a hot car.
I can’t wait to try some of the gorgeous bread they make — delivered!

Delicious, organic, local baked goods. What more could I ask for? I guess I could ask myself not to eat all 12 of the oatmeal chocolate cookies within 36 hours of delivery, but, you know…
Oatmeal choco chip cookies are fabulous — the oatmeal gives a nice texture, a touch of cinnamon to give extra flavor, and flax seed for extra health.
The cozy oat loaf is also a favorite — super thick and hearty slices are a perfect accompaniment to soup and also make great open-​faced sandwiches.
If all that was not enough, I get these nutritious treats delivered to my door every Monday. Hooray!

The Whole Wheat Rosemary & Kalamata Olive bread is to die for! Actually, everything I have tried from Secret Goldfish is pretty amazing.

Wow! What an incredible find. Mike and Molly are excellent craftspeople, creating delicious breads and cookies. Bread delivered to your door is such a delightful and thoughtful concept! When most breads and cookies at grocery stores contain an endless amount of hard-​to-​pronounce ingredients, Secret Goldfish Baking Co. uses simple, straightforward ingredients to make truly great product.
I highly recommend the rosemary and olive boule as well as the oatmeal cookies. I’ll surely be ordering more in the future. Thanks Mike and Molly!

The Secret Goldfish Baking Co. is my guilty pleasure. Although I try to keep my carb intake to a reasonable level, buying something from Mike and Molly throws all rules out the window.
Seriously, everything they make, by hand, with love, is ridiculously delicious. It’s crazy. To pick a favorite out of all of their selection seems nearly impossible, but I guess I’d have to choose the Salt and Sage Focaccia. Had I any shame, I would be embarrassed that I can go through a whole loaf in less than 24 hours. But alas, the benefits of being shameless.
Even better, we’re talking sustainable carbs here. Organic flour? Check. Local, independent business? Check. Vegan options? Check. Best damn cookies on the face of the earth? Double check.
