Van is the BEST! I have been going to her sessions(both private and group) for almost 4 years and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is one of the most informed and educated instructors that you could ever hope to meet. She takes into account any injuries and will make any necessary modifications. Some of the bigger classes around town are taught by instructors with a tiny fraction of the knowledge and experience that Van has. This can lead to some people getting injured at these big classes. By contrast, Van’s classes are safe, exceptionally fun and a great workout too! I would not consider going to any one else, book in to see her if you can!

I am so thankful that I found Van. Well, my friend Michelle found Van and I just tagged along! Nonetheless, I am very happy to have stumbled upon her expertise and to now have her as a teacher. When I moved to LA, I sought out a pilates instructor and furtunately got directed to Van. That was close to 5 years ago and I still go religiously to her. Her knowledge of how the body works, how to work through injuries, how to strengthen your core; how to get a sense of what her clients need is unparalleled. She is without question the best pilates instructor I have ever been to and I have gone to a number of them throughout the years. You will feel stronger, healthier and better than any other excercise or instructor can provide

Aboute Van: Van is the best Pilates instructor in Los Angeles. She has truly mastered her art. I find that I am standing/sitting/moving with more ease than I have in years. The level of individual attention you get in one of her classes is amazing, and I always come out feeling I’ve gotten the perfect core workout. If you are at the point in your life where you want to focus on core strength and flexibility without injuring yourself, and you haven’t had a chance to work with Van, I highly recommend that you give yourself that gift. About Pilates: I was new to reformer Pilates before I started working with Van. I had previously done yoga and lifted weights, and I find that Pilates occupies a really nice balance between the two. It’s hard to imagine getting a better core workout, and at the same time the likelihood of injury seems to be significantly lower than at the gym or even at yoga(talk to anyone who has been doing yoga consistently for a few years, it’s actually really easy to injure yourself that way).

Van is awesome! I’ve lost 10 lbs in the last three months working out with her. She has helped strengthen my lower back. I had weakness that was causing pain and preventing me from being as active as I would like. She has helped me rehab it and get it strong so it doesn’t hurt anymore. I am so happy to not be in pain anymore. She has so much experience it’s amazing. I’ve never worked with a better Pilates instructor, and I’ve worked out with a lot over the last 15 years. Love her! Highly Recommend!
