Dr. Karlin and the Well Being family are amazing. Dr. Karlin has a gift; she is kind, patient, attentive, accessible. and her treatments are effective. I first came to her several years ago for a chronic condition that was not being resolved by traditional western medicine. I was frustrated with being prescribed the same medication that was not solving the problem and, in fact, making me more ill. Dr. Karlin prescribed a treatment that resolved the issue effectively and fully. I was convinced! Since then I have seen her for a variety of other issues with great success. I would recommend Dr. Karlin and Well Being without hesitation.

Dr. Karlin and the rest of her staff have created the most welcoming and healing space in Santa Monica. Dr. Karlin provides the most extensive combination of holistic healing skills I have ever experienced and has helped me tremendously with her incredible diagnosis and treatments that have helped me overcome LIFELONG health struggles. I could not recommend any healthcare practitioner more thoroughly. Courtney Shelbourne and Eva Statine also come highly recommended. The center gives access to many fantastic practitioners of alternative medicine. I hesitate to call it alternative because the results have been so much more empowering and sustaining than any experience in western medicine for me. Thank you Well Being!!!

I had a skin condition that I tried to treat with various natural medicines that didn’t work. A dear friend recommended Dr. Karlin. Upon first meeting her, I thought «she looks healthy». I had been seeing a couple of western doctors for another issue and I always noted how unhealthy they looked. She treated my condition holistically, which western doctors never do. Her practice incorporates eastern and western medicine. With accupuncture and herbal medicine my skin condition cleared up and the chronic pain I had on my right wrist had gone down by 80%. All the while, she is engaging and takes her time with you. It’s never rushed and I felt that my healing was her main priority. Which was quite the contrary to my experience with western doctors. I was just a number and they wanted me out for the next patient ($$). Dr. Karlin is compassionate, funny, engaging and very likable. I miss seeing her! I’m recommending Dr. Karlin to all of my friends. If you are looking for a true healer you will find one in her!
I didn’t use the other services at the center but I love the space, it feels like you’re walking into someone’s living room. Very inviting and the staff is extremely friendly.

Dr. Karlin has been a HUGE godsend to both my daughter and me. She is a caring, compassionate doctor who treats your entire person – physical, emotional, spiritual. I have worked closely with her on a variety of issues – pain, hormones, anxiety, etc. – and am extremely impressed (and extremely grateful) with the results. Throughout my appointments, I always feel like I have her undivided attention – she is never rushed or abrupt like so many harried, traditional Western medical doctors. She takes time and works hard to achieve results. It is obvious she is invested in her patients and their well being. Dr. K’s staff is also fantastic and I can highly recommend Courtney for massage and Plant Spirit Medicine. If you’ve ever considered Naturopathic medicine and acupuncture, this is the place to go!

Dr. Karlin is an intuitive, caring, talented healer. I came to her with terrible jaw pain and after a couple rounds of acupuncture didn’t fix it, she determined Cranio Sacral Therapy was the way to go. Three days after the session, my jaw magically popped back into place and I’ve been pain free ever since! Dr. Karlin draws upon a wide range of healing practices and methodologies — having a doctor with such an extensive toolkit is an invaluable resource for patients. Great experience overall.

Dr. Karlin is really great. She has such a kind personality, you can tell she deeply cares about her clients. Plus, not only is she very knowledgeable in just acupuncture and eastern herbal medicine, but she also is a naturopathic doctor, so I really felt like she had a tremendous reservoir of knowledge she tapped for me. She was compassionate and thorough, spending time talking with me and making sure she understood everything and that I had all my questions and concerns answered. Lastly, everything there is totally professional, clean, and serene. I would recommend this center for anyone wanting to explore alternative medicines.

My husband saw Dr. Karlin for anxiety and panic attacks so severe that he could not work for several months. Dr. Karlin stablized him within two weeks, and he’s been amazing ever since. I was so impressed with her that I saw her for help with my stomach after a month-​long stint on antibiotics. She’s a dream! Plus, I always felt like I had her undivided attention during appointments. Two thumbs up!

This is a beautiful center and it has so much to offer. I love Dr. Karlin. She is a lifesaver and a wonderful, caring doctor. She has done a lot for me over the years and most recently has helped me lose and maintain my healthy weight. I would recommend her to anyone that wants to experience optimal great health.
