Lawrence has phenomenal gifts– both with students, and creating music. I teach 2nd grade, and have had Lawrence come to work with my kids for the past two years. Seeing «Music with Mr. Lawrence» on the agenda causes an immediate celebration, and even the squirmiest of kids are eager to participate! Lawrence allows the students to activate their creativity in ways that are largely ignored by traditional schools. He supports their ideas, offers guidance, and in the end, helps youth create something truly unique and original.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA
Lawrence is an amazing teacher for teens who want to make electronic music. He’s not only talented as an artist himself, but he also connects with the kids on their level. As a parent of a teenage girl who’s into this, I’ve been really pleased to see how Lawrence and the very accomplished guests at his YPG workshops totally inspire her to collaborate and discover her own particular musical voice. Really, this program couldn’t be better.
