Great food great service. Stopped in on a whim. Really glad I did food was very good the service was above and beyond really had a great waitress and the hostess was excellent kept checking everything. I will be back to this location our waitress his name was Victoria and she should be commended she was excellent

This is just a review for their«to go» service. This is the second time I use this service and have gotten horrible outcome the first time I ordered at the counter and when i received my food 20 minutes later I went home opened it and noticed the French toast was missing! I had to drive back to the restaurant. The second time I called ahead thinking it would be faster, I get there and they can’t find my order! I had to reorder and wait again more time. If you want breakfast to go I recommend flight 126 or hozzy’s as this establishment does not seem to have figured it out!

I have been here 3 times and this last time was so disappointing. We arrived for dinner and they were not busy at all I was greeted by some unprofessional girls that could not figure out where we should be seated. They continued on and on loudly«where should I sit them» The waitress finally just told me to pick a seat and I did. Sat there for a few minutes and seen the girls again so unprofessional with 3 older ladies that came in, they couldn’t figure out where to seat them. Cindy was quick at getting g our drinks but then completely disappeared when we were ready to place our order. We waited 10 minutes and finally I asked for the bill for my drinks as we were leaving. I could not believe how unprofessional and unorganized this place was. I hope things change soon.

I search out Denny’s for their Grand Slam Slugger breakfast, usually in the late evening. It was as good here as I’ve had, and I think Denny’s has the best hash browns. Marissa was our server, and she was efficient and pleasant. Denny’s is an endangered species, as the Ventura location as well as many in the SF Bay area have recently closed. Support them to keep this old gem alive.

service is horrible, bosses/managers are unprofessional aswell. they yell at they’re employees right in front of the customers. But they employees might deserve it because of how horrible they are at being a waiter/waitress. the food was the only good part of being there.

I met a friend here for breakfast last weekend. She was running late and at first I was just going to wait in the lobby for her, but then customers starting piling in and the place was getting super busy so I got back in line and asked for a table for two. I ended up being seated at the most awkward little tiny table at the very back of the restaurant next to the emergency exit and the isle to the kitchen. Oh well, it worked out. I think our server’s name was Juan though I’m not sure. He was fantastic. He’d just started his shift and was very cheerful and energetic. He made sure our drinks were full and gave us updates when our food was taking a bit long. Food was delicious. Lots of sweet sugary options and I went with the red white and blue pancakes which have blueberries in them and strawberries and whipped cream on top. Delicious! So tasty I forgot to pour the maple syrup on that had come out with them. Interior looks totally remodeled from the previous occupancy and the place is clean, with a light, breezy atmosphere. I’d definitely eat here again for breakfast or lunch.

I’ve been to this dennys location a few times, twice now I’ve had a waitress named Erin, she is so friendly and my kids really like her. She makes conversation with them and now they want to go just to see and talk to her, she even comes over to say hi when we get seated with another server. The food is good but the service is what makes us choose this over other options. I do have to agree with other reviews about the long wait time for our food and sometimes the glasses or silverware seem kind of iffy, but the staff are very quick to replace anything I’m not satisfied with.

It’s only my second time here at the Santa Paula Denny’s and honestly the service is slow. We got in, was told to sit anywhere and it wasn’t even that busy. We were seated, waited about 5 minutes before someone took our order. Our waitress was Marissa, she gave us our drinks which was just water and Coke. Told us that she would be back to take our order. We were probably already sitting there for 20 – 25 minutes waiting for her to come back. ITWASNOTBUSYATALL! I could see her just standing there talking to two of her coworkers and she looked at me and looked away. We were already contemplating on whether we should just leave or not but I was hungry. So I had to grab another waitress to get our order. I ordered half an order of zesty nachos and grilled chicken Caesar salad but with ranch on the side because I don’t really like Caesar dressing. When she put the order in, you can hear the cooks complaining or wondering what the heck I ordered because I wanted ranch on the side instead of the Caesar dressing. The food didn’t take that long — thank god! But Marissa was the one to take us our food. And having been a waitress once and having friends who are waitresses, there’s a rule where you serve your table food and come back in 2 – 3 minutes or after the first bite and ask if everything is ok or if anything was needed. When she served us our food, I had to ask for utensils because there was none on the table. And she never returned to see if anything was wrong or needed. By the time we were done, I just wanted to leave. It took forever to get our waitress’s attention because she was talking to other coworkers and started chatting with her friends who just came in. I understand that she is serving them but she completely ignored us when she was done getting her new tables drink orders. We complained to the manager that the service was horrible and it didn’t seem like he cared because he too was talking to someone else. We just paid whatever the tab was and left. I didn’t bother tipping because the service was that bad and I usually always tip because I know how it is to be a server. I know that this place just opened not too long ago but with service like this, I am not sure how long they’d last.

Maaan, when I read the negative reviews I figured it was just snobs expecting luxurious service… but boy was I wrong. Where to begin? The greeter guy was cool, even kind of funny which is appreciated at 12:30am, but from that moment on it was horrible service. We were told to sit wherever, so we did. Our waitress came after a few minutes and got our drink order, although she never bothered to bring silverware or take our orders. After a few«excuse me» calls, we said forget it and were about to leave when a separate waitress had to come and get our order. She was helpful but it took forever to get our food… and we STILL had no silverware at this point! As we sit there with nachos and a salad, we ask for silverware and our original waitress takes forever then only brings one roll of silverware! Wtf maaan?! I proceed to let the manager know that we received terrible service, just for the sake of letting him know. But he doesn’t even bother to offer to comp anything or give a free dessert or anything. I understand that it was late, but if you’re on the clock then you’re on the clock. Please quit your job or work a different shift if you can’t handle late night. Smh. We heard that there was a new Denny’s in Santa Paula, CA. So we decided to meet for Lunch. We were greeted at the door with a friendly«Welcome to Denny’s». Our waitress was Ricarda. She really went out of her way to make sure we had what we wanted and checked with us several times. It was nice to have her waiting on us. The food was A-Okay! For a new Denny’s in Santa Paula we’ll be back.

This is the worst Denny’s I’ve ever been to. They took about an hour to bring us our food. The waitress brought me a coffee but took a while to brings us silverware after I brought it to her attention so I couldn’t mix the sugar and cream in my coffee. My hash brown was burnt on the outside and raw on the side. I told the waitress and she just said she was sorry and that’d she’d take care of me the next time I came in. I told her i was from out of town and she didn’t offer a discount or anything. I asked for more sugar and she brought me a few packets for two people. I asked for water and she brought it in a glass slightly bigger than a shot glass. They brought my friends toast after he was done eating. To top it all off they tried to overcharge my buddy for his meal. When I was walking out of Denny’s, a couple asked us if we enjoyed our meal because hers was terrible.

This is the worst Denny’s I have ever been to, and I have been to many. It was okay at first, the server promptly took our drink order and she walked back behind the counter and started talking to coworkers and what looked like the manager. The drinks took forever, and before they even arrived, another waitress(Nessa) showed up and asked if we wanted any drinks. We told her how we’d already gotten our drinks and then she took our order instead of our original waitress. When we finally got our drinks from the first waitress, she asked to take our order. Once she went back behind the counter we could see she was frustrated with the other waitress that Nessa had taken our order instead of her. We ordered«Moons over My Hammy,» Chicken Strips, and the Pancake Puppies. The chicken strips were all right and the MOMH was good, but they’d forgotten the puppies. We waited about fifteen minutes(AFTER finishing our meals) for attention from the waitresses so we could let them know that they had forgotten the Pancake Puppies, but it took a lot of effort to flag down a waitress since all of them seemed busy hanging out behind the register. We finally got the attention of Nessa, who had taken the order with the pancakes, and she said she’d get our original server… so we waited ANOTHER five minutes until she showed up and told us that she hadn’t even put in the order, and that now she would. Once we finally got the Pancake Puppies we were pretty fed up. We’d been there for almost an hour and it was late and we wanted to get home. Instead of the regular Pancake Puppies, they gave us the tropical ones, which were disgusting, and we left them at the table… As if anything could get any worse, we attempted to pay, and the cashier charged us $ 53 instead of the $ 26.99 we owed. The manager had to come refund us in cash. Everyone at this Denny’s is completely unprofessional. Should’ve gone to McDonald’s.

Great Addition to the City of Santa Paula. Right off the exit of Palm if you find yourself on the 126. Customer service was great as expected. A lot of natural light which in my opinion is a big plus. Welcome to Santa Paula.
