Great place to enjoy wine, nibbles, and people watching. The staff is fairly knowledgeable and pricing is reasonable. I like that they stock lighter alternatives to sauvignon blanc, such as vinho verdes, gruner veltliners, and albarinos. This can’t be overstated on a sweltering FL evening. A tip: the paella night, on Fridays, should be considered a must when coming to 30A.

Nestled next to the left breezeway in Seaside sits 45 Central Wine Bar. The wine list is extensive, the staff knowledgeable about the different wines, the atmosphere ridiculously comfortable and great for people watching and the food… fantastic. The Queso 45 is simply sin on a stick. Sin, I tell ya. Soooo good and excellently paired with our Chappellet Chardonnay. They have these groovy low reclining chairs outside that are ridiculously comfortable and make a fantastic HQ for people watching and enjoying the glorious weather.

We had a lovely experience here last night. Kiki was so friendly and helpful; she is a real asset to this establishment. She helped us navigate through the extensive wine list and allowed us to have a taste of a few we were interested in. Ultimately we had a bottle of Cabernet and a cheese plate, which was delicious. Since it is the off season here now, and a chilly night, we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The ambience is lovely and they had displays of creations by an accomplished local artist. A great night and we will be back!

LOVED This place — a surprisingly well developed list for a small place. A lot of interesting choices, I was in heaven! Then we met Kate — she had an incredible knowledge of the wines and the areas where they’re from and what that represents. I see very few people that know their own list that well and she’s was delightful and a welcome surprise to the afternoon. More importantly — they have a Happy Hour of all wines by the glass half off — WOW. This great list and I can order 2 glasses for the price of one. My friend had a beautiful Riesling from Mosel — a double! And I had Kate pick me 2 Pinot Noirs from the list for a full on comparison. We also ordered several appetizers — also on happy hour. Everything was really delicious and a nice variety. Only Con — these weird and uncomfortable bar stools are made for 90 pounders. It’s all bar stool seating — no normal size chairs, all very small for small people. They did have a sofa so we sat there while I did my football draft. If you’re in this area and enjoy wine — this is a must stop.

The previous two reviews were right on target! This place is intimate. Has a friendly and helpful staff. Very good tapas. It is a wine bar, so expect light fare and a limited, but delicious menu. Lobster sliders are excellent ! Highly recommended!

These guys have it going on. Get one of their many BTG wines and the grouper dip; the hot sauce makes the dish. Last night they were making sidewalk paella in a huge flat skillet thing. Full on mirepoix with people walking by, smelling like heaven; so simple and so brilliant. Don’t miss this one y’all. Wonderful new addition to Seaside Central Square.

Very happy that 45 Central Wine Bar has opened here! It was needed! The staff is very friendly and helpful the moment you walk in the door. There are a couple of sofas inside for a more usual seating. There are also high top tables inside, a beautiful bar and plenty of outdoor seating(which it needs to be sectioned off somehow, maybe by plants & outdoor lighting so it is better defined as restaurant seating). 45 Central Wine Bar has a wonderful wine selection and the staff is more than willing to assist in selecting your wine of choice. The food. Their small plates, tapas, is phenomenal! We had their cheese plate; 3 cheeses, 2 lightly drizzled with honey, nuts(pecans and almonds), figs, sliced grapes and crackers. Today, they had a blue goat cheese(yum!), I believe a Gouda and a manchego. Very good! We also had the artichoke terrine(Chef Sandor’s). Holy smokes!, it is delicious! Chunks of artichokes and lightly drizzled with a truffle oil. There was also a special today, veggie lasagne. Fab-u-lous! Not sure how often they make the lasagne but the sauce is amazing and the filling was out of this world! Today, we also had the black eyed pea hummus with pita chips. I could taste hints of cumin, tahini, garlic with an accent of lemon, aka hummus. Though I would like sticks of celery & carrots as an option. In the past, we’ve also had the lobster sliders. Loads of lobster meat, lightly dressed on Hawaiian bread. Also, very good. And we’ve had the smoked fish dip. It does NOT have an overwhelming smokiness or saltiness to it, as some places do. It was exactly how you would want it. Overall, this is a laid back wine and tapas bar, with a wonderful wine selection and delicious food that can be a small bite or get multiple items(my fav) for a full-on meal. We will return, repeatedly. It is an asset to the community and I’m very happy it is here.
